"The hotel is in a good environment, just beside Lake Geneva, walking across a bridge, across from a commercial street, LV and other brand stores are here. The hotel didn't have breakfast. I asked for 20 Swiss francs. I have to say that the price of Switzerland is the highest in Europe."
"I went a day earlier to confirm my stay with the hotel. They couldn't find my booking. I showed them my confirmation on my phone. I was told that they can see my confirmation number but no payment was made by trip.com. They assured me that such has happened before and told me to be on the safe guard book another room as a standby. They assured me that they will not swipe my card until matter is resolved. That assurance made me check in. I kept coming to the front office every now and then and I was told it was resolved. Only on the last night I was told that by Trip.com of the error in the address. In the meantime the hotel had swiped my card. Surprisingly they did not honour the feedbacks I gave to Hotel Montana Geneve and Hotel Montana Zurich. There was no email to apologise for the oversight and delay in handling. I went to the hotel one day earlier to check, they could have attended to it and not confidently putting the blame on trip.com since there has been previous incidents where [ayment was not received.
I thought Hotel Montana group could have handled this matter better. Quite disappointing."
"It feels like living in your own home. Although the hotel is not big, it makes you feel at home. It takes only a few minutes to walk to Lake Geneva across from the hotel. There are also several bus stops nearby, so transportation is very convenient. It is also close to the UN and WTO."

"The location is very convenient to the train station and the service is good. The overall sanitary conditions are good. There are many restaurants within walking distance and it is very close to the lake. It is a good value hotel"
"The hotel is very clean and should be newly renovated. Surrealist portrait sculptures in the corridor are a bit scary, and every time you go in and out, you always feel like someone is standing there. The location is also very good, the bridge is the famous street. Next to the hotel is STARBUCKS. Check-in requires 2 single beds, although they are put together, it does not affect the use. There is a free apple every day at the front desk and bananas and oranges on the second floor. The only shortcoming is that the towel that was brought in was taken away by HOUSEKEEPING, and I went to the front desk to complain. I just apologized and said that I would return it to me the next day. I didn’t return it to me when I left the store. The casual, large strips of Europeans can be seen at this time."
"The location is perfect. You can just walk to anywhere from the hotel. I like the water pressure for the bath. I don’t see anything wrong with this hotel other than it is slightly hot and the ac is not new."
"Very good hotel worth recommending, the receptionist who received us is a little sister with Asian appearance, very polite to speak Mandarin , and upgraded our room. It is very convenient to open the door by e-mail key according to the elevator. It is a few minutes away from the train station. The nearby supermarkets are not small, the Spanish restaurant in the hotel should not be missed, the taste is very good, but remember to book early!"
"The most comfortable hotel on this trip, the front desk originally said that it could be upgraded by 145 Euros. Later, I thought that the original room was also good, but I did n’t upgrade. The bathroom and bedroom are large, and the service is attentive and meticulous, especially for breakfast. We ordered all the dishes, all of which are above the standard level. They are particularly delicious, and they are exquisite. Highly recommended!"
"The entrance, the luggage storage room, and the guest room were all accessible with just a smartphone, making it very convenient. The guest rooms had a lot of playful features that made it very fun. There was also a kitchen, so I think it's recommended for long-term stays. Personally, I was very grateful that I could get to the center of town quickly and that there was a McDonald's nearby."

Great
HHaobinBoth the service and breakfast are very good. The location of the hotel is also convenient as the airport and shopping mall are nearby. However, the car park of the hotel is too narrow which is suitable for small cars only. There is also no direct access between the hotel and car park as the only entrance of the car park is outside the hotel.
AAnonymous UserIt was a nice property close to the airport and they have the shuttle service to the airport which is very convenient. But the maintenance and service is not good. The wifi was not working. The basin was clogged in washroom.
GGuest UserThe room was well-appointed and spotlessly clean, the overall environment was pleasant, and the service was excellent! The hotel reception is conveniently located above a COOP supermarket. Guests can take the elevator directly from the underground parking garage to the lobby on the 0th floor, which is extremely convenient. The only minor drawback was that the room felt a bit small. While two 28-inch suitcases on the floor would certainly obstruct movement, we found that placing them on the bay window freed up a lot of space and made the room much more comfortable.
GGuest UserGreat location, regular free shuttle to the airport (every 10/20mins depending on time of day).
You check in at the main hotel, which wasn’t especially clear, but I figured it out.
Great for a quick overnight stay before a flight
GGuest UserManagement please check this review and travellers please watch out!!!
A nice clean hotel with great restaurant which made me feel like home. Closed to the airport though location is a bit difficult for me to walk to the airport, but they have nice shuttle service to take guests from/to the airport. In my mind, I praised it was the best airport hotel I was staying ever, and they deserved a great review. (that was what I felt at the beginning).
With the reasons above I had extended to stay one more night to check out on 12 May 2025 when I could easily move to the hotel in front of it for the extra day (Nash Suites airport hotel) with cheaper price. I chose to stay.
I Got Really Upset And Disappointed when a box of Chocolate in my room got lost. I have pictures attached here in the review!!! Chocolates in Switzerland are very unique, and I intentionally went to Sweetzerland (a chocolate boutique) on Saturday to purchase two boxes for my friends in the Netherlands because Sweetzerland closes on Sunday. One box cost me CHF 22. On Sunday May 11, I went out till the evening around 6pm. As soon as I got back to the room, I realized one box of my chocolates was gone but left me the white gift wrap. I immediately went down to report to the receptionist. The one I first talked to was nice. She seemed willing to help solve the problems. She referred me to talk to another receptionist, her colleague but the lady she referred wasn’t available at that time. She asked me to go talk later again.
When I did, the second receptionist said all the managers, and house keeping they needed to talk to left because it was after 6pm. I asked her to call them. She said that was impossible. So, verfication wasn’t successful. Instead, she asked me to leave my contact number in Europe and email address because I was gonna check out the next morning 4 am. She claimed by the next morning 4:30 am after they talked, they would come up with a solution and would contact me. I waited for two full days, and no call or email received. This IGNORANCE shouldn’t be done. This considers BAD SERVICE!!! This shows that you don’t care about short stay travellers. How unsafe the guests would feel??? Now, it has come to the point that I was complaining about losing one chocolate box to complaining about bad manner of the receptionist! There were 3 receptionists that evening, she was the second lady who sat down in the middle with longer face shape. It happened on May 11 evening, and my room number was 311.
Management Please check and take this action seriously!!! Don’t let the act and services of those ladies ruined your hotel’s reputation. It was supposed to be a great 5 stars hotel but it ended up as one star. It is a shame to let the reputation go down this way. Our family also ran a hotel in our home county, so I deeply take sympathy on you and want you to know!!! PLEASE Definitely Check and Verify!!! Don’t make your guests feel like you don’t care especially for those overseas guests who go and do a short stay.
It is not the value of a box of chocolate matters, it is about housekeeping lady’s behavior and the ignorance of the receptionist!!! What if I left my other stuffs unlocked in the luggage on that evening?!? She probably would take something important on that luggage too.
Please You Should Check with the housekeeper and the receptionist on that day!!!!!!
TTraveler 314Very clean hotel with microwave, coffee machine & kettle. Towels are plush. Can ask for additional amenities items at counter. Airport shuttle runs every 20 mins till midnight, very convenient.
RReshmabanu SulemanMy favourite hostel after visiting 4 5 hostel in europe having good variety of breakfast but only problem there was no sausage or slices or chiken which is halal had to eat only vegetarian breakfast. It's having good location easy to access to public transport and near by tourism also had free transportation card which helped alot enjoyed the stay for sure will come back again to stay
NNurzakiah HanimThe location is pretty convenient and accessible. It was 1 minute walk away from the tram station and 2 stops away from Cornavin Station.
Staffs were friendly and approachable at all times. Even though, I didn’t mention that it will be my birthday, they prepared a small amenity for me on my second day stay. Truly appreciate it!
Hotel and the room is clean. Very pleasing to the eyes.
Room came with universal socket which came in handy since my luggage was delayed and I do not have travel adapter with me.
All in all, I had a really pleasant stay.
Thank you N’vy!
KKFManThe Ruby Claire Hotel is situated in central Geneva, very convenient to getting around especially for first time visitors. Staff at the hotel were super friendly and helpful. Rafael, the staff who checked us in, recommended us a number of places of interest worth visiting, showed us the best way (transportation) to get around the city, and public transportation was free as offered by the hotel. Knowing that we’d be staying for three nights, he recommended us to take the “daily make up room service”, rather than the welcome drinks. Good advice! Self service coffee and teas were available for free from the “library” situated on each floor, 24/7. Highly recommended!
GGuest UserExcellent location for the Geneva stadium with a shopping mall next to the hotel with restaurants, supermarket and cinema/bowling alley. Great transport links to airport directly by bus within 35-40 min and into the centre.
Staff- friendly and efficient.
Toiletries provided but no lotion available.
Rooms clean and large enough.
Beds and pillows comfortable. Universal plug sockets and usb charging available in the room.
