"The hotel boasts an excellent location. It's just a few minutes' flat walk from the train station, and the lake is also easily reachable within about 10 minutes on foot.
There are two 4-star Manotel hotels side-by-side. One appears more contemporary. I booked this one, expecting a more traditional or classic feel. To my surprise, only the lobby had a classic European style; the rooms were very modern, likely recently renovated.
Despite being a hotel, the kitchen facilities are surprisingly comprehensive and impeccably clean.
We booked a triple room, which was a good size, featuring a large bed and a sofa bed. The duvet provided for the sofa bed was rather thin, but the main bed was incredibly comfortable. The room came with a good selection of amenities, including slippers, shower caps, cotton swabs, toiletries, and coffee capsules.
The bathroom heating was on, but we couldn't manage to turn off the air conditioning in the room. As we arrived past 11 PM and had an early departure the next morning, we decided to just make do and get some sleep.
Breakfast was quite impressive, offering a generous spread including smoked salmon, a variety of hot and cold meats, and golden kiwi fruit.
The lobby also features a piano for guests' use."
"The location is excellent and super convenient, literally just steps away from the lake! The facilities are complete, everything is spotlessly clean, and it's wonderfully quiet. The front desk service was also top-notch. This is definitely my go-to hotel for both business and leisure trips, especially since you can cook your own meals here."
"Clean, friendly staff and very affordable for families. Close to train station and an easy walk to other sites. Air conditioning was lacking and the amount of ladies of the night around the hotel block was surprising. Overall, would stay again."
"The hotel's location is superb, just a stone's throw across the street from Geneva Railway Station's main entrance. The hotel entrance may be small, but it has a lot of character. It's clean, tidy, and boasts its own unique vibe. Breakfast was also good; it might look unassuming, but it was genuinely delicious and flavorful. There was a good variety of cold and hot dishes, as well as fruits. For a hotel at this price point, it offered excellent value for money. Before check-in, the hotel proactively sent us a QR code for free public transport in Geneva. The service was truly outstanding; they even called several different restaurants for our cheese fondue and eventually provided great recommendations. The hotel is only about a 15-minute walk to the Old Town and approximately a 7-minute walk to the Flixbus stop at Place Dorcière."
"Very helpful staff, appreciate your kindness towards us when my daughter was ill and needed advice on where to seek medical care. Conveniently located next to train station and short walk to the quay.love the complimentary chocolate and drinks in the fridge. Nice room and spacious modern toilet."
"We liked this hotel for its minimalist approach. We had chosen a standard double room which was okay for us for one night. We found the front office and other staffs in the hotel to be really helpful. We also had breakfast which was excellent. If and when we decide to travel to Geneva we will definitely try to find this hotel."
"The location is extremely great. Just a few minutes walk from the train station. Super convenient. And there are convenience stores, supermarkets, eaterie,s etc in the train station, super convenient. The hotel is clean & bright. The staff are courteous and helpful. The check out time can be extended to 12noon. The bed is comfortable. Bathroom is clean with sufficient amenities. Would highly recommend this hotel."
"I recently stayed at Novotel Genève Centre and had a fantastic experience! The location is incredibly convenient, close to Lake Geneva and major attractions. The rooms are modern, spacious, and well-equipped, providing a comfortable retreat after a day of exploring. The staff provided exceptional service, ensuring a seamless experience. A perfect choice for both business and leisure travelers !"
"My friend and I had thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Don't be discouraged with this not being in the city centre because the free public transport is just outside the hotel. Make sure to check out the 4th floor of the hotel because the view of the mountain is amazing.
The mini kitchen is handy for us. And with Lidl just a few steps away, we had some delicious cheap meal.
Guys from the airport, ask the information desk where the metro stop. Don't take a taxi but take the metro and make sure you get your mobile free transport pass. From the airport it is only less than 10 mins ride. We did not spend a penny exploring the city and transport to the airport.
I hardly write a review, but it is worth writing this to help others."
"The room was very clean. Breakfast was an additional 20 CHF per person, and the roasted potatoes were particularly delicious. The staff were also okay. A great bonus is the free city transport card, available for pickup at the front desk, which can save you a good amount of money."

Great
EEmmanuel HemmerléI was going to arrive late in the evening last night so I wrote the hotel to enquire about transportation from the airport to the hotel. They told me very diligent it and precisely about their shuttle service. When I arrived at the hotel, the desk person, a Swiss gentleman, was extremely hospitable, friendly, authentic, detailed in a good sense, helpful and professional. He also helped me book a taxi for the next day. What a great way to welcome a guest. Really best practice. Lots of desk employees around the world should learn from him!
The room was very nice, all fine. Large enough, and having all amenities.
Excellent lunch at the hotel: very good cuisine.
I needed to leave my luggage at the concierge: they did it all very well.
The only point for improvement: when I left, I asked a lady at the reception, apparently Swiss, to help me get my luggage back and book a taxi for me. She did it but in a cold and distant way. She should go find another job in a different industry. One where she can continue being unfriendly.
NNavenduWell the location and pick-up service from the airport was excellent including all the amenities and bed was comfy too.
I was rather not happy with the reception team attitude which are not at all welcoming. Infact they even said the executive suite I booked is not meant for 5 people in which a 2 years old infant was treated as an additional people. I have been exploring so many cities and hotels and never found someone treating so insensitively despite we havent made nay request for additional cot or so. During booking Nash airport hotel emailed me that we can only allow one kid free of cost for the booking. In short, I think the reception team needs to be polite and more friendly and welcoming for their guests.
GGuest UserThe room was well-appointed and spotlessly clean, the overall environment was pleasant, and the service was excellent! The hotel reception is conveniently located above a COOP supermarket. Guests can take the elevator directly from the underground parking garage to the lobby on the 0th floor, which is extremely convenient. The only minor drawback was that the room felt a bit small. While two 28-inch suitcases on the floor would certainly obstruct movement, we found that placing them on the bay window freed up a lot of space and made the room much more comfortable.
GGuest UserIt was very unclear where the airport pick-up point actually was when you come out of the building. All they told me on the phone was that it's terminal 1, gate 3 and a black van. Well if they had elaborated and explained that you go past the taxi ranks to the coach pick-up section, that would have been far less stressful at 11pm. Once there, there was indeed a black van with the 'Nash' branding on the side which arrived in 10 minutes. A short ride away (5 mins) and we got dropped off at the hotel. Late check-in is at the reception desk in the airport hotel next door. For some reason, the lift in the hotel next to reception wasn't working (myself and another guest tried to get it to work) - meanwhile some hotel employee was on the phone in the room next door. I then had to carry my 23kg bag fortunately up just one flight of stairs, but this would be an issue for other guests with limited mobility. Transfer back to the airport the next morning was pretty smooth. In summary, clearer instructions around the pick-up and a working lift would have improved the experience, but it was still perfectly adequate and convenient for an early morning flight at 7am.
NnarcissashiThe room is considered big in Switzerland. The hotel also sent an email in advance reminding me that I can get the Geneva transportation card for free, which is very considerate.
RReshmabanu SulemanMy favourite hostel after visiting 4 5 hostel in europe having good variety of breakfast but only problem there was no sausage or slices or chiken which is halal had to eat only vegetarian breakfast. It's having good location easy to access to public transport and near by tourism also had free transportation card which helped alot enjoyed the stay for sure will come back again to stay
GGuest UserExcellent location for the Geneva stadium with a shopping mall next to the hotel with restaurants, supermarket and cinema/bowling alley. Great transport links to airport directly by bus within 35-40 min and into the centre.
Staff- friendly and efficient.
Toiletries provided but no lotion available.
Rooms clean and large enough.
Beds and pillows comfortable. Universal plug sockets and usb charging available in the room.
KKFManThe Ruby Claire Hotel is situated in central Geneva, very convenient to getting around especially for first time visitors. Staff at the hotel were super friendly and helpful. Rafael, the staff who checked us in, recommended us a number of places of interest worth visiting, showed us the best way (transportation) to get around the city, and public transportation was free as offered by the hotel. Knowing that we’d be staying for three nights, he recommended us to take the “daily make up room service”, rather than the welcome drinks. Good advice! Self service coffee and teas were available for free from the “library” situated on each floor, 24/7. Highly recommended!

KKamalathaI went a day earlier to confirm my stay with the hotel. They couldn't find my booking. I showed them my confirmation on my phone. I was told that they can see my confirmation number but no payment was made by trip.com. They assured me that such has happened before and told me to be on the safe guard book another room as a standby. They assured me that they will not swipe my card until matter is resolved. That assurance made me check in. I kept coming to the front office every now and then and I was told it was resolved. Only on the last night I was told that by Trip.com of the error in the address. In the meantime the hotel had swiped my card. Surprisingly they did not honour the feedbacks I gave to Hotel Montana Geneve and Hotel Montana Zurich. There was no email to apologise for the oversight and delay in handling. I went to the hotel one day earlier to check, they could have attended to it and not confidently putting the blame on trip.com since there has been previous incidents where [ayment was not received.
I thought Hotel Montana group could have handled this matter better. Quite disappointing.
