I recently had the pleasure of staying at Dahun Villa, and it was an unforgettable experience. The villa boasts a serene atmosphere and a unique architecture that utilizes indigenous materials, allowing it to blend seamlessly with the beautiful surroundings of Siargao.
What truly made our stay exceptional, however, were the gracious owners and their attentive staff. The German owner was able to connect with my fiancé on a personal level, while the local owner shared our passion for sports, such as freediving. Their warmth and hospitality made us feel right at home, and they even went above and beyond by introducing us to their friends who are business owners in Siargao.
Dahun Villa's immaculate rooms and facilities were another highlight of our stay, providing the perfect space to unwind and recharge. Their adorable little "Peter Parker" kiddo also brought a delightful energy to the place.
Our experience at Dahun Villa not only inspired us to explore more of Siargao's beauty but also to consider setting up our own business to prolong our stay on this enchanting island. The connections we made with local business owners during our stay will be invaluable as we pursue this dream. If you're looking for a tranquil, welcoming retreat on Siargao, I highly recommend a stay at Dahun Villa.

A bittersweet accommodation, the place is beautiful, the room is super nice, but!!!!!!!!!! They don't change the towels, they don't clean, the room wasn't completely clean, there are a billion mosquitoes!! And they enter the room since it has many holes on the outside, it is far from the center, without a motorcycle you can't do much, it is true that it is in a quiet place, you only hear nature and the dogs barking at all hours and the girls at the complex are very nice. You have water and you can refill your bottle. Important: There is no hot water in the shower and little pressure.

The owner, ate Mel was really accomodating and friendly. She helped us with all the things we needed, she’s the One who looked and Booked our island tour, motorcycle and van transport for our convinience. Thank you! In terms of room, we Booked the attic which has 6 beds, very spacious and clean. Every room can cater x number of guest, 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 people. All rooms looks cool. The over all vibe of the place is very fancy and cozy. Ate Mel is planning to construct a Pool and it will complete the accomodation package. If I suggest or recommend, I hope ate Mel will put a bar for drinking session at night nonetheless it was an awesome experience staying at Dahun Villas resort.

We couldn't book with Bg due to technical problems and they only allowed us to pay in cash, they don't accept VISA. 4,000 pesos for a “delux” room with breakfast. The room has no hot water, soap, or shampoo. There are ants as soon as you arrive. At night I get stung by a local insect on my neck. Curiously there is a plug inside the shower, which I consider downright dangerous. The wifi only works during the day and the signal barely reaches the room. Breakfast: no milk, coffee without comments, no napkins (finally they offer us small bath towels). 80% of the resort is dedicated to surfers' hostels and I think that's what they should dedicate themselves to.

I had decided to choose a hotel outside the city to be quiet, very bad, apart from the dogs that bark all night, the daughter of the owner who does not speak, but who howls from 7 a.m. in the morning, no education. And of course, they do work from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. so it's impossible to rest during the day or sleep in. The room is huge. The bed is OK but it is very poorly equipped with no wardrobe. No shelves, there is a large space under the door which allows any living species to come and see you while you sleep, no mosquito net. No mirror above the sink so I might as well tell you that for shaving it's hell no hot water breakfast extra and the rooms are very poorly oriented since it overlooks the reception and the boss watches what is happening all day long, no privacy.
