We have been staying at the hotel for four nights. Overall a nice experience, but the rooms are too outdated and do not meet the criteria for a 5-star hotel. Breakfast was great at 30 euros per person. The main reason we are disappoined with our stay, is the quality of the 1 Michelin- star restaurant. A week before our dinner, I asked the restaurant to take into consideration that my wife is pregnant. One day before the dinner, I mentioned this again at the hotel reception and we were reassured that this would not be a problem as there would be plenty of options for pregnant women. To our surprise, the restaurant had no idea how to handle this situation the day of our dinner. For the first dish, my wife received the same course as I did, but without the main ingredient: the fish. All that was left was cucumber in a bit of sauce (see photo of my wife’s couse compared to mine). For the second course, she received almost the exact same dish that was served to her as the main course. The only difference being that for the second dish, the veil (cooked: well done) was replaced by mushrooms. All in all we consider this unacceptable for a restaurant with a price range of ~ 200 euros a person. We cannot image that a Michelin chef was attending the kitchen the night we dined here. Especially with Michelin star restaurants, you would expect the chef to see it as a challenge to prepare something suitable, but creativity was absolutely lacking here.

Stayed a week with the family in this delightful property. A wonderful week from an attentive staff, a beautiful house and garden with charm, amazing breakfast and diner/lunch venue, great decoration yet not ostentatious, full of history, great location to explore the region. A great discovery - certainty à top 10 in our international (long) list of venues

We have visited this hotel numerous times - a fabulous setting, dining under the trees is wonderful but expensive and the set menu at the bistro is rather limited. Unfortunately over the years certain areas of the hotel have not been upgraded to keep pace with the improved rating of the hotel and the tariff. In particular the bathrooms. I would expect a bath/shower that works properly for these prices and hopefully this will be addressed this coming year before I visit again next year.

A romantic trip to celebrate my wife’s birthday in the stunning Provençal small luxury hotel set in gorgeous gardens. Everything was superb. Staff were smiling, friendly and efficient. Room was wonderful. Michelin starred meal was terrific. Thanks to the Team for a magnificent stay

The most astonishing is the design of the whole hotel, the garden, the facade, and interiors are so beautifully decorated. The room was really spacious and had everything we needed. The staff was very polite, making sure we are happy and answering to our demands, often recieving small gifts in our room like cake, candies and fresh fruit. The restaurant had delicious food, live music and it was cosy .

poor communication before and during our stay with no written confirmation of booking and agreed price which caused problems at check out. no hot water for bath in evening which was met with indifference beware the driveway which is crossed by a public road which is not visible. Stop sign was obscured by the lavender and as a result we had a car accident food was very disappointing and not of the standard that we normally experience in a Michelin starred restaurant Staff were not very helpful and we were very much left to our own devices to deal with the accidient caused by the hotels poor signage. Assistant manager was called in to discuss our issues and she was very helpful...but all too late to change our experience which was sadly disappointing on many levels.

This was an absolute jewel of a hotel. Right now, with the euro equal to the dollar, France feels like a bargain compared to American places. For example, the endless breakfast buffet full of locally sourced delicacies with coffee and juice for less than 30 dollars a person! The restaurants are the main attraction here and the amount of love and care that goes into the food is impressive. The only downside is that the air conditioning is weak so it’s warm at night in the room (this will only be a problem for Americans, everyone else knows how to open windows and deal with it but we’re very spoiled). But, that also made for a more authentic and pastoral experience overall. Make sure and try the Pistou soup. It will blow you away. I loved this place and was sad to leave.

Beautiful establishment. With some reservations. Not very commercial. Meals in the bistro: not bad but too expensive. (75 € starter - main course - dessert) "Honestly it's not worth it" I'm not talking to you about the wine list....it's nonsense.!!! the wines are at crazy prices. It's unbearable. I think it's more expensive than at Cheval Blanc in St TRPOPEZ (extraordinary establishment) The place is very nice, the staff welcoming but you definitely need to review your meal and wine pricing policy. Too bad, it's a waste.

It excels in all areas: wooded setting, welcome, room with a view, gourmet dinner in the gardens, yes it was a moment of delight for the taste buds and the eyes...and we highly recommend this haven of peace...
