Superb hotel with excellent facilities, sublime food and kind, attentive, professional staff. Beautiful surroundings, easy to get to in wonderful countryside. Great walking and biking, then super relaxing spa. Would totally recommend this hotel.

excellent hotel, everything was perfect, beautiful view of the lake and mountains, access to the lake, excellent food, very professional and nice staff, comfortable bed, available kayaks, boats, paddleboard, e-bike. We definitely recommend this hotel.

We spent five days at "Das Traunsee" in order to go hiking in the Salzkammergut. The hotel is located at the lake "Traunsee" with a beautiful view onto the water and the mountains from the rooms, the spa and the dining rooms. A gourmet restaurant is located in the hotel ("Bootshaus") and so the half board is exceptionally good. We have never eaten so well in a hotel. Lukas Nagl and his team use local and seasonal products to create delicious meals. If you like fish, this is the place to go. The spa is also really beautiful with super views to the lake. If you feel like it, you can jump into the lake after going to the steam bath or the sauna. Our stay was perfect although the weather was not good. So we definitely will come back soon!

Very nice stay. The room, the food, the view, the hotel employees, everything was spotless. I highly recommend this place. We had a day dream suite room with a view at the lake, the room had bathtub, shower, a perfect bed for relaxing and a balcony . The food was very good and the personal of the hotel was very polite and helpfull. It is a place where you will come back for sure!

Sehr schönes Hotel, direkt am See, toll renoviert, mit freundliches Personal und ein ausgezeichnetes Frühstücksbuffet und tolles Abendmenü. Feiner, kleiner Spa-Bereich mit Ausblick auf den See und direktem Seezugang. Wir hatten eine kleine Suite mit eigenen Seezugang und mit tollem Ausblick auf den Traunstein.

Die 3 von 5 Punkten beziehen sich ausschließlich auf den Zustand der Zimmer. Wir hatten die kleinste Suite im Erdgeschoss, Blick zum See. Das Zimmer gehört renoviert und entspricht nicht dem Standard, den das Hotel mit Qualität der Speisen eigentlich hat. Schimmel und modriger Geruch im Bad. Billigste schlecht überstrichene Vorhangstangen. Man sieht dem Zimmer eine gewisse Abgewohntheit einfach an.

Wir haben eine Nacht im Traunsee verbracht. Der Empfang war sehr freundlich, und der Begrüßungsdrink incl. kleinem Snack hat und über die kurze Wartezeit gebracht bis unser Zimmer fertig war. Das 6 gängige Abendessen im Bootshaus war ein kulinarisches Highlight. Die "Speisekarte" wurde sehr orginell mit Hilfe einer Box, in der die Produke präsentiert wurden. Die Weinbegleitung wurde rechtzeitig zu den Gängen eingestellt und hervorragend erklärt. Das Service war während der gesamten Abend überaus aufmerksam. Die Speisekarte mit der Weinbegleitung wurde nach dem Dinner auch in schriftlicher Form überreicht:-) Gratulation an Lukas Nagl und sein Team, wir haben den Abend und den Aufenthalt sehr genossen und freuen uns auf ein Wiedersehen.

Wir haben erneut einen wundervollen Aufenthalt im Traunsee Hotel genossen. Dieses wunderschöne Hotel am See bietet nicht nur eine atemberaubende Lage, sondern auch ein außergewöhnlich freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal. Alles war einfach perfekt. Für uns ist das Traunsee eines der schönsten Hotels am See, und wir haben jeden Moment in vollen Zügen genossen. Besonders erwähnenswert ist der kulinarische Abend im Bootshaus, der mit Worten nicht zu beschreiben ist. Die exquisite Küche und das stimmungsvolle Ambiente haben uns unvergessliche Genussmomente beschert. Bereits zum vierten Mal haben wir hier eine Auszeit verbracht und freuen uns jetzt schon auf unseren nächsten Aufenthalt. Vielen Dank an das gesamte Team für die unvergesslichen Tage!

Das „Beste“, die Lage, besser geht es nicht. Kulinarisch sowohl am Abend als auch beim Frühstück ganz große Klasse. Der Service könnte noch etwas besser sein. Allerdings für einen Kaffe mit Milch 7,20 Euro zu verlangen grenzt an Frechheit. Auch für einen kleinen Mittags Snack 19.00 Euro zu verlangen ist grenzwertig. Nicht desto trotz ein Traumhotel in Traumlage……
