We have been regular visitors to the Gruner since the 1990’s but had not been since 2012. The first thing to say is WoW, everything about the Gruner is quality, our bedroom was stunning and even had a sky at night effect on the ceiling. Matthias and the Green team are all so friendly and efficient. The spa facilities are exceptional along with the natural swimming pool. The Gruner is well positioned for hiking. Our car did not move from the garage during our weeks stay. Overall a fantastic stay great food and beer and nothing too much trouble

It was my 3rd time in Austrian Alpes and I had visited 6 more hotels, but Alpengasthof was the best value for money!! And the stuff was very friendy and polite!Super location for access to pistes. Great breakfast also. I would go again for sure!

We had a lovley stay at Alpengasthof Gruener . Perfect location. Good room size , comfortable bed, and beautiful view with the mountains. excelente spa, staff super friendley and helpful. The breakfast buffet was delicios, with a huge variety of option. Will definitley go back. Thank you!

The hotel is in an amazing location for skiers: you can put your skis on right in the garage, and step into the slopes. The ski lift, ski rental place and apres ski bar are all within the walking distance. The food was amazing, our kids loved the made-to-order eggs and sweets. The spa area was very nice to relax in after the day of skiing. Many restaurant options nearby. The staff was very attentive and answering all of our questions.

The most cozy and atmospheric place with a wonderful, friendly family that has been running Alpengasthof for years :) I love going back there ! I recommend it for both summer and winter! Bikes, skis, running areas... it's all here :)

Great ski in ski out hotel, Ski straight down to the lifts, ski hire in walking distance the location is perfect to get in and out of town. Friendly staff, service with a smile, restaurant and bar overlooking over the piste. The spa is a great way to wind down after a day on the slopes. 5 Stars

If you are looking for somewhere to stay for a skiing holiday in Soelden then look no further. This hotel is in a perfect position to ski in and out from. The spa facilities are superb, with an excellent sauna, foot spas and relaxation rooms to ease aching muscles, stresses and strains at the end of each day. There is an extensive choice of food at every meal and for hotel guests, we thoroughly recommend the set five course dinner. The presentation and taste of each meal was outstanding and offered great value for money. Equally the pizzas and other meals on the A La Carte menu were also extremely good. Matthias and his team ensured our stay was perfect in every respect and we have no hesitation in highly recommending this hotel and restaurant.

Its a real pleasure walk out of the hotel in the morning put your skis on and set off and at the end of the day to ski right back to the hotel, take them off and put them straight into the ski racks. The staff are genuinely great, with a good sense of humor and always a willingness to accommodate. The rooms are clean and spacious. The long breakfast and long afternoon tea with just an hour in between is a great idea. We ate a light dinner on a few nights because we pushed the boat out on the slopes - the food choice available is very good but I have to mention Ice-Q as being the standout for lunch - but book in advance. The wellness is somewhat limited compared to where we have previously stayed but it is klein aber fein. The juices at breakfast are amazing and the lady on the "egg" counter is a genuius!!! Best scrambled eggs I have ever tasted! All in all a no brainer to recommend!
