Great place and a charming hotel with perfect view. It has all you need and is in close distance to the ski lift. Food wise: it has all you need, breakfast is always the same assortment and basic, that’s also alright. It is a sympathic family owned place, cozy and clean, warm and has a nice wellness area including gym from where you see into the mountains. Great place and views. Would return…

Wonderful family stay over Christmas 2024. Service was excellent every day, our waitress worked very hard to make sure our children were well fed every evening. The rooms were traditional, spacious with plenty of storage, warm and cosy. We had a stunning view of the mountains. The pool was an added delight!

We had a wonderfull stay at the hotel. The rooms were perfect, nice balcony, good and firm beds and a practical bathroom. The food was great, lots to chose in the morning and a 5 course dinner with an meat, fish and vegetarian option. The wellness was great and the staff was really friendly. Besides we had terrific weather for skiing.

What a fab hotel staff are all fantastic particularly Walter and Gabriel, rooms much bigger and better than we expected and the food was amazing, we went with another couple and we all said we could not believe it is a three star hotel. Thank you to everyone working in the hotel you all made our stay very special. Our only suggestion would be to have tea and coffee facilities in the room.

Hotel is lovely, location is perfect but some staff members and petty rules let it down, will definitely come back if there's a change of ownership. Waiter behind the bar and the lady serving us at breakfast and dinner were lovely, but the rest were miserable and lacked manners. I got the impression they are overworked and underappreciated. Water is charged at €3.50 for TAP water, apart from at breakfast when it's free, but you have to guess/wait to be told off before you know this. You're not allowed to sit at the hotel owner's table at the bar, but it's not reserved and there is no sign, so you have to wait to be told off You aren't allowed to bring ANY skiwear through reception or near the dining room, but the door to the ski room is jammed and stiff and there is a block of slippery ice with no grit to slip on There are no slippers or dressing gowns so remember your flip flops or you'll be going down to the spa barefoot The wine list is all in German, in fact everything is in German so you'll be ordering blind. No water glasses or bottles in the room, threatening notice in the room about bringing your own food or drink back. The salad bar is very very limited The food is nice, vegetarian options lack thought, could do with fewer, better courses. The decor is amazing, especially the fireplace and bar area, good spa with plenty of beds and facilities The views are incredible, the location is amazing for skiing. Owner clearly has an issue with water consumption, strange considering it's in the Alps?

The hotel is average in terms of food and room facilities. The only thing that distinguishes it is a great location near the ski slopes. However, unfortunately, the managamemt and the reception caused us (we were 2 couples: me with my wife and son with my fiancée and dog) a huge annoyance. The hotel charged 50 euros without notice for allegedly leaving dog hair on the sheets. The son knew he was supposed to pay 7* €30 = €210 for the stay of the dog, but he did not expect that the reception would add an additional fee for dog hair, which was not pre-priced anywhere. Why not 5000 euros or 5 euros - the quote was made with care and without notice. In addition, the hotel manager and receptionist treated us extremely rudely on the day of departure, shouting at us (that is, hotel guests) and threatening to call the police if the extra fee for the dog is not paid, on top of the mandatory 210 euros. We did not expect such rude treatment and therefore we will never go there again. To sum up, I've been to many Austrian hotels and I've always been treated almost like a king, and here I was treated like the last piece of trash. Shame on you, Alepnohotel Laurin!

I was a guest there between 4 and 11 Feb 2023. Laurin has a nice view from the windows, serves decent dinner and has some nice restaurant staff coming mostly from abroad (Slovak, Slovenian and Hungarian). Any positives/neutrals end here. I never had a worse hotel experience in my life. Neither in Austria nor anywhere else. The reception staff and the owner were extremely rude to me and my fiancée during most of our stay with the culmination of the owner screaming at me at the top of his lungs when I was disagreeing with the extra charge they put on my bill, for, as they described, extra cleaning due to excess dirtiness of the room. Later, to top the level of this show of absurd rudeness, the receptionist brought the bed cover to the reception desk to show me that the payment was for 5-6 (!) dog hairs left on it. I was charged extra 50 EUR for those 5 hairs. You must know that when you arrive with a dog your every action and every step will be monitored by the hotel staff. Despite being charged 30 EUR/day just for the presence of the dog, you're not offered any conveniences. Not even a single dog trash can in the vicinity of the hotel (the closest is one allegedly four floors by stairs, close to hotel Riml - by the way I never was able to find it). On the other hand, you're not supposed to leave the dog in the room at all and you're also not supposed to take your dog to any of the common areas. If you leave your dog for 2 hours in a room you will be called careless by the hotel manager. If you’re going to have breakfast or dinner you literally have no option to do so according to the hotel rules (unless you come as a couple then one of you can stay with the dog and then switch). I was also yelled at once by a waiter, but because I really pity him for having such bosses, I will not mention his name here. This happened because we understood that we could bring the dog into the dining room, for the time the room was being cleaned by the service and it was a suggestion from the reception staff (they explained it wrongly and then blamed it on us). I feel extremely disrespected by the owner, the reception staff and the hotel management who are not able to take any criticism, care ONLY ABOUT THE MONEY and are EXTREMELY RUDE. They have made all their efforts to make us feel unwelcome. PS. I wonder how it is possible that many of the hotel staff (waiters, cleaners) are able to work 16-17 hour shifts, 5-6 days straight without any labor law being broken.
