Our time at The Secret Sölden was nothing short of magical. The hotel is in an excellent location within walking distance of the main ***** but removed enough that you feel private and have great views of the mountains. Everything is brand new and the hotel’s design is really cool. The spa and gym are incredible and our room was amazing with a huge tub in the bedroom and wonderful kitchen. The food at the restaurant is great. We opted for the “James Bond 007” package which gave us access to the incredible 007 experience atop the mountain. I highly recommended this if you are visiting. The experience was so unique with stunning views and the package price is a great deal considering you get dinner at the hotel, lift tickets and admission tickets all included. What stands out most about this hotel and really makes it stand apart from others is the amazing staff. Every single person we encountered at this hotel was not only friendly and great at their job but they genuinely wanted you to have a wonderful experience and enjoy yourself. We have been traveling for the past month and decided to come to Solden to celebrate for our 5 year anniversary. The staff went out of their way to make sure that we had a magical experience. We cannot thank them enough, after so much traveling and staying at countless hotels it is so refreshing to come across a hotel where you can tell the people that are working there really enjoy their jobs and want you to have the best stay possible. We will absolutely be back! If you are lucky enough to come across this hotel then you should absolutely book it!

We learned from The Secret that the hotel is so new, it only just opened its door mid-March of this year and we are one of the first guests of the hotel! It has not been totally completed yet, but they want to catch the last few weeks of ski season before closing and finishing up, before reopening for the summer season just like other hotels in the alpine region. Our 2-bedroom unit is modern, with an amazing view! The hotel provides free flow of snacks and beverages (both non- and alcoholic) in the lobby area every afternoon, too! The host/receptionist was super helpful and friendly. Location-wise, to us who prefer quietness, is perfect. Just a little walk across Gaislachkogl Brücke to the gondola. Away from the noise and crowd. Underground garage has lots of parking spaces as well. Definitely a place to stay in Sölden.

We stayed here with a group of family and friends soon after Secret opened. We had pretty high hopes from speaking to the team here, and they were exceeded at every moment. Incredible rooms with nice decor, great breakfast and fun bar at the fifth floor. The ski lifts are only 3 minutes away, and everyone loved the indoor-outdoor pool. Cannot wait to return with more friends for a party, the Secret does not disappoint. Last note, thanks to all the team at Secret who made our stay so fun and easy, from printing ski passes to booking restaurants. Thank you 🙏🏻.

Fantastic hotel in a great location with helpful and friendly staff. We were a group of 14 and we stayed in the medium suites. Each had two bedrooms with en suite bathrooms and a very spacious living room. The pool and spa were lovely and in very good condition. The hotel is a 3 min walk to the main gondola and less than a ten minute walk to the centre of the resort. The staff were super helpful and made everything very easy. Breakfast was good, with plenty of choice and the complimentary afternoon tea/snacks was a lovely touch. We would 100% stay again.

I wanted to surprise my family and friends (8 in total) by staying here for a night. We arrived early about 2pm. Our wasn't ready but the guaranteed time was 4pm. They gave us some welcome drinks which was nice and filled out check in detail (this was rather tedious and they could have asked for these before we arrived). We went into town and got our skis and passes and got back at about 3:30pm. Room was still not ready but there was teas and cakes which were very nice. The room was finally ready at 4:45pm and only 7 beds were made. I did ask for a discount (a complimentary house bottle would have been fine) or at least allowed us to use the spa and pool but nothing. The food at dinner was great but as beautiful as it was I dont think there is enough if you are skiing everyday? However, the service was so slow. We were a table of 8 but still not great. The next day we were off to ski at 8:30am and I wanted to check out. I was told to come back at 10am. From what was meant to be a nice surprise was a bit of a let down. They were very attentive when everything was going well but have ignored my complaints since I left. The hotel is beautiful, the skybar is amazing and the pool and spa area are wonderful. The rooms are good too although not enough coffee in them. However, the staff seemed unable to deal with simple problems and on occasions forgot about the customer.

Look no further! The hotel is situated just steps away from the slopes, yet tucked away from the main road. We stayed in a spacious apartment, with ensuite bathrooms and ample storage space. But the real highlight? The amazing swimming pool, where we enjoyed the magical feeling of warm water under heavy snowfall. And don't forget to visit the rooftop bar, where Tamy will prepare you some amazing cocktails!

Ironically i write this review not wanting to give away a secret but fear I might ... We (myself, wife and 2 daughters aged 11 and 14) had a wonderful summer holiday in the Otzal region and specifically spending 6 nights the The Secret Solden in mid July. We flew into Innsbruck and it was an easy and enjoyable drive up to Solden and were greeted by Nora with "Hello Mr ", a really nice personal touch and one of many to come. The facilities are top class and sheek in design. There is a large, spacious underground garage for the car that connects to the hotel. The hotel itself oozes class and style. The indoor/outdoor swimming pool is made of steel, no cracked / old tiles etc. Around, near and above the pool area are comfortable deck chairs, beds, quiet reading rooms and whilst sitting in the pool outside you look up to the amazing mountain with the James Bond 007Elements facility at 3000m. Between 3-5pm there are afternoon cakes and tea provided free of charge. The steam room, sauna etc are of course spotless and equally spacious and high quality, although there are no signs it is generally expected to be a no-clothing facility. In terms of accommodation, we had a 2 bedroom "medium secret" apartment and it was exactly as per the photos and perfect for us with separate kitchen and a living space at the opposite end to the bedrooms. For eating and drinking, the morning breakfasts were a real highlight. You order an a la carte hot breakfast item at the table that is cooked perfectly and bought to your table whilst you help yourself to an amazing array of buffet items. All items are stylishly presented, often in small individual / one portion servings, this is not your typical "zoo feeding" buffet. We also had dinner at the restaurant one night and it was spectacular. Like breakfast, the items feel made from scratch for you and very personal. There is also a roof top bar serving very nice cocktails to complement the views. The hotels is a 2 minute walk from the town centre and the main gondola. There is a wide variety of shops, bars, restaurants etc. I can't vouch for the nightlife as this was a family holiday but I believe it's very lively. Towards the end of the stay, the whole area was hit by a storm that knocked out the power for 24 hours. How did the hotel staff react? They simply continued on serving their guests as best they could by communicating clearly and going out of their way to ensure everyone was comfortable, fed (including free dinner, drinks etc) and impacted to the least extent possible. I have to finish this review with a(nother) word about the people that work at The Secret and truly make it what it is. They seem like a tight knit family and not a collection of individuals that may only be there for a few months as we experienced at another nearby (locally famous) hotel later in our trip. They are each extraordinarily personable, polite, helpful and perhaps above all genuine.

Firstly the position is perfect as it’s not on the main road . The main road through Sölden is basically a highway and very noisy. Likewise the ski lift is 5 minutes walk and there are 2 ski shops right there to rent all your ski equipment and get ski passes . Buy your ski pass before as you get a 20% discount . The hotel is ultra modern yet has a cosy atmosphere . There is a massive lounge and dining area as well as a heated indoor and outdoor pool and sauna . The breakfast is very luxurious and you will not be disappointed. From cold meats , cheeses , fruits and vegetables; hot breakfasts ; pastry’s and breads ; a range of juices , teas and coffees plus champagne . My one irritation was the poor selection of gluten free items . There is nothing on display , you have to ask . And the quality of their gluten free rolls and croissants is poor . I think they are microwaved so the become rock hard if not eaten immediately . The staff are incredibly kind and friendly and do go out of their way to help . From 2pm to 5pm you can expect cake and light snacks as well as food drinks and coffee and fruit and sweets. Again there is nothing gluten free even when I asked . We stayed in the self catering suites and we were upgrade to a 2 bedroom one which had a massive lounge dining room and kitchenette . The decor is modern chalet and we were in room 101 which was ground floor but very quiet . There is no decaf coffee but other coffee pods so we had to go and buy . My housekeeping bugbear with our suite is that they would fold our toilet paper ; make our beds and fold the bath mats but leave our towels unfolded. Just plain odd . All in all it’s a superb spot and well worth a visit .
