Hotel Seelos

Fabulous, friendly boutique style hotel on a gentle incline just a 10 minute stroll from the resort centre. All the staff we had contact with were exceptionally friendly and helpful despite our limitations with the German language. Our room was spacious, comfortable and of typical Tyrolian style with fabulous views of the mountains and village. The buffet breakfast provided a good choice to start the day off, whilst the evening meal ( selected at breakfast) was very well presented and of good quality. The lounge bar area was very comfortable, competitively priced and although nominally closed at 10.30 would happily stay open later if the demand was there. A nice touch was the free shuttle offered to Seefeld railway station on our departure. We have visited Seefeld on a number of occasions but this was our first stay here and will certainly be a consideration next time we visit.

Beautiful and spacious room with balcony and mountain view, comfortable bed. Great breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean rooms and sauna. Great amenities. One of the best hotels in Seefeld. The only two problems were the heating system in the bathroom didn't work properly, but they provided me with an electric heater instead. And the rather flimsy clothes hangers in the wardrobes. Otherwise top rated hotel and staff. Shall be back!

Convenient location, easy to spot if it is your first time in Seefeld, easy to access by foot. Very helpful friendly staff, restaurant best for good breakfast and salad bar. Three stars. E bikes to use. Unstable wi-fi. Standard clean rooms. Would book again.

The worst experience was in this Hotel in my 12 days Europe trip. Only thing ne small lift for passenger where only 2 people and their luggage can hardly fit. No water bottles in the refrigerator in the rooms. No Electric kettle in the room. No shaving kit provided on request. No breakfast provided. The entry to the breakfast place denied at 7.32 AM saying that the the breakfast closes at 7.30 AM. No pre information was provided. The hotel administration was very rude in talking and is not fit at all for hospitality business.

What a delight! My husband and I were here for Christmas and the hotel was everything we wanted it to be - so good that we have broken a longstanding rule and booked two more visits. The corner rooms are particularly nice, with double aspect views. Some rooms have carpets and I'd say these are preferable during winter months! The shower was big enough for two (save water and all that) and the food, oh the food - so much of it and so good! Staff are very obliging and smiley. We don't speak German and sometimes there were smiles, crossed fingers that we understood, and gesticulations but it all worked out and we would very much recommend this beautiful hotel, situated up a slight hill just outside of the main town. The Spar is just a short walk.

We have just got back from another wonderful stay at the Seelos. It is such a beautiful hotel with stunning views over Seefeld. We have stayed here many times over the years and the hotel has maintained its relaxed atmosphere and high standards under the guidance of Boris and his team. We opted for the transfers from the hotel which went smoothly (despite our luggage being lost) and nothing was too much trouble for the hotel as they kindly took our clothes away to be dried in their tumble driers and chased our arriving luggage (which did arrive the same day thankfully.) The breakfast service has everything you can think of and the evening meal is 4 courses; a large salad buffet with the soup course, main meal and dessert served to the table. Wine and beer prices are very reasonable at the hotel which meant it was nice to relax in the bar and play pool with my son. Hristina was our waitress for most of our stay and challenged my son to order a hot chocolate in German, since then his Duolingo app keeps pinging and he is determined to be fluent next time we return. We visited the Christmas markets for Gluhwein, went for walks around Lake Wildsee (where you can feed the wild birds and squirrels from you hands) and took the kids sledging down the hill alongside the hotel. Seefeld is such a beautiful place and the Seelos is a great hotel, we would not stay anywhere else. Thank you Boris for all of your help and looking after us so well.
