Very good... there is a parking lot... breakfast is not bad

this is amazing hotel but lack basic essence of an hotel, first of all after evening no one is at reception or any other office so in cased of any emergency and specially if you are not local you are in serious trouble. i had serious fever and in the middle of night no one was available to give me hlep or guide me to go to hospital or pharmacy. secondly before i depart (from Manchester, UK) i rang them and ask if they have laundry service as well were attending dinner and need our suits to be iron and they confirm that they have , but upon inquiring we found they have no such service. although staff is great very helpful , only if they are available. the buffet breakfast was out of tea bags and i was told it will be there next day ?? i need tea and i need to wait 24 hours. rooms are very nice, comfy beds, shower room although tiny but good enough. very clean and tidy . perfect location.

Our second visit to the Hotel Tiefenbrunner and very happy we returned. Everything as good as before with the added bonus of updated bedrooms and a refurbished residents dining room. All rooms are kept spotlessly clean by the excellent housekeeping staff. Our room came with a kettle, choice of teas, a large fridge and views of the mountains. Lots to choose from at breakfast, hot and cold options, and for dinner, a choice of mains together with another four courses including fresh salad. Drink prices are very reasonable, house wine can be ordered by the glass and unusually for Austria tap water is provided for the table. We found each dish on the menu to be imaginative and full of local ingredients. Some very talented people in the kitchens! Waiting staff are happy to help with any requests and engage with guests, resulting in a welcoming, friendly, relaxed atmosphere. There are many facilities on offer, we made use of the indoor pool, the kneipp ponds and swinging egg chairs in the gardens. The weather was good all week, except for a rainy Monday afternoon. It never seems cold in the mountains when the sun is shining, perfect for walking, exploring the pretty streets and shops or sitting outside the cafes and mountain huts. We found the 5 in 7 day lift pass to be the best value for us, this included unlimited use of seven mountain lifts and free travel on local buses. Happy to recommend Kitzbuhel and Hotel Teifebrunner for a memorable holiday in the mountains, we travelled with Tui who provided smooth transfers to and from Salzburg airport and a resort rep to provide advice and help when needed. I’m surprised Tui have cut back on the number of hotels they offer in Kitzbuhel, we’ve been to Kitzbuhel four times now, one a winter holiday, and still feel there’s more to see and do, it’s a great place for a holiday. I was here on business and was initially given Room 401. It is disgrace to even offer such a room at this 4star hotel. Luckily, the staff was friendly and accommodating to my room-switching request. I switched to 412 for my 2nd evening. The difference was like night & day. 401 was more or less a youth hostel room w/private bathroom. Anyone taller than my 160cm would not fit in the bed…no closet, no mirror (except a tiny one in the bathroom), no possibility of opening the window because it opened to a rooftop terrace, generally very dark, broken shower head….I could list much more but you get the picture. Thankfully 412 was a newer room with better standards but still no water cooker, tea, coffee, not even a pen or pad of paper. My apologies for the snobby review, but for single rooms starting at @120€/night (during low season) & claiming to be 4 star hotel, one has “gotta get with the program!” The 3 star review is for the accommodations, but the staff and the breakfast definitely both get 5 stars.

In the past, skiing was very good and the ski area was very close. The hotel staff is also very kind, the only bad thing is to go this time, the restaurant only opened an Asian restaurant, the choice is relatively small

I have stayed in thousands of hotels. I made great world trips. This hotel is on my top list. Rooms, cleanliness, kitchen, friendly staff, everything was right. Most of the motivation of the staff is noticeable. Without stress, hard work is done and everybody has a visible pleasure in his or her works. Just a recommender!
