This hotel proved to be a true escape. The grounds and surrounding area are absolutely beautiful, providing a natural playground for our children who spent a happy morning just exploring. If we weren't on a tight schedule, we could have easily treated this as a destination resort. Adding to the delightful experience was a very good breakfast each morning.
The facility itself has the character of an older building but is lovingly maintained, which adds to its charm. Guests should note the absence of air conditioning. Our stay coincided with a heatwave, which made the rooms rather warm. We found that opening the windows offered a pleasant breeze, though it's wise to turn off the lights first to keep insects out. Despite this, it didn't detract from our wonderful and memorable stay.
WiFi is strong and fast on the first and second floors, but weak on the third floor. This is one thing that can be improved.

Wir haben 3 Nächte im Hotel verbracht und waren von der Ankunft bis zur Abreise sehr zufrieden. Ja. Das Haus ist schon älter,aber die Zimmer waren sauber und die Küche war fantastisch. Das Frühstücksbuffet ließ keine Wünsche offen und das 3 Gang Menü am Abend war immer sehr gut und sehr liebevoll angerichtet. Die Angestellten und die Familie die das Hotel führt waren stets freundlich und bemüht einem jeden Wunsch zu erfüllen. Pit Pat Anlage im Garten war sehr unterhaltsam und im Strandbad Putterersee hatte man freien Eintritt und kostenlose Liegen,Sonnenschirme und sogar Tretbootfahren war gratis. Einzige Kritik die wir haben ist,dass an den Türen und an den Fenstern,weder in den Zimmer noch sonst wo im Haus Fliegengitter angebracht sind und wir deshalb,vor allem beim Abendessen sehr viele Fliegen um uns hatten die beim Essen sehr lästig waren. Aber das ist der einzige Minuspunkt. Sonst waren es sehr schöne Urlaubstage.

Das Dosenfutter schmeckt schrecklich und die Zimmer sind 400 Jahre alt und wurden 400 Jahre nicht geputzt. Um Profikoch zu werden braucht man einen Dosenöffner. Es gab für das Klo keinen Schlüssel. Das einzig gute war der Spielplatz mit dreirädern und 2 Go-carts. Die Ziegen waren auch sehr cool und nett.Auch der See war sehr cool.
