Very clean place, friendly service, breakfast with a wide selection, included in the price, and parking right next to the hotel. There are charging stations for electric cars in the city center and nearby. There are also restaurants nearby, I highly recommend this hotel

Wir waren mit Freunden in Gelsenkirchen um an einer Veranstaltung in der Schalke Arena teilzunehmen. Das Hotel Monopol ist sehr freundlich und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Die Zimmer sind sehr schön und sauber, das Personal ist überaus freundlich und sehr zuvorkommend. Das Frühstück war hervorragend. Die Lage des Hotels ist top, die Straßenbahn ist in unmittelbarer Nähe und auch zahlreiche Restaurants oder Imbisse sind fußläufig zu erreichen. Beim nächsten Mal werden wir wieder kommen!

Sehr freundliches Personal, Garagen Plätze sind vorhanden, müssen aber dazu gebucht werden. Zimmer sind hell modern und sauber ! Es ist alles vorhanden was man braucht ! Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral . 5 min von der Fußgängerzone von Gelsenkirchen Buer! Busbahnhof auch direkt gegenüber! Wir hatten Nichtraucher Zimmer und hatte. Zum Hof hin die Zimmer , sodass wir nichts vom Verkehr gehört haben ! DerFrühstücksraum sehr großzügig und modern! Frühstück ist ok. Nichts besonderes und Brot und Brötchen nichts besonderes! Aber es war auch alles da was zum Frühstück möchte! Leider viel in einmal Verpackungen ! Etwas lieblos angerichtet!

Ondanks alle negatieve recensies moet ik zeggen dat dit hotel me reuze is meegevallen. Ik had een kamer in een bijgebouw en deze kamer was zeer riant met een goed bruikbaar bureau, alleen de stoel was iets te laag of het bureau te hoog, een goede badkamer. Samen met een andere kamer deelde ik een kleine keuken die van alle gemakken was voorzien. Jammer genoeg stond er geen koffie. Ook hier weer erg zachte kussens. Het ontbijtbuffet was zeer uitgebreidt en een dame die de koffie en andere zaken verzorgde. Zelfs een stukje fruit voor later op de dag stonden zowel bij het ontbijtbuffet als bij de receptie. De ligging van het hotel is tegen het centrum van Gelsenkirchen aan. Dit is wel aangenaam daar het hotel niet over een restaurant beschikt. Een verblijf voor herhaling vatbaar.

Mein Aufenthalt im Art Hotel Monopol war fantastisch. Die zentrale Lage, das freundliche Personal, die sauberen und kunstvoll gestalteten Zimmer sowie das leckere Frühstück machten meinen Besuch unvergesslich. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Wir haben leider keine gute Erfahrung mit dem Hotel gemacht. Wir haben ein Doppelzimmer gebucht. Anfangs haben wir ein kleines Zimmer mit 2 separaten Betten bekommen, eins links und eins rechts horizontal gestellt mit Schränkchen im der Mitte. Dieses wollten wir natürlich nicht annehmen, da wir es auch nicht gebucht hatten und auch ein Paar sind. Dann mussten wir wieder vollbepackt erneut zurück zur Rezeption, denn das Zimmer war nicht im Hauptgebäude, sondern 2 Gebäude weiter. Danach wurde uns erneut ein Zimmer 2 Gebäude weiter angeboten. Dieses hat extrem nach Rauch gestunken, wie auch im ganzen Hôtel auch. Als Entschädigung haben wir ein Frühstück geschenkt bekommen, welches auch sehr schlecht war und die Gläser sehr schmutzig waren. Gute Lage, aber Preis/Leistung sehr schlecht und enttäuschend. Großes No Go!
