We attended a wedding and are glad we don't have to remember this hotel on our wedding day. Aside from the unfriendly staff and owner, there weren't enough chilled drinks on the hottest day of the year (almost 40 degrees Celsius). It took almost two hours to refill them. After dinner, we were yelled at because they didn't see my plate when clearing it and blamed me – although I don't know what the exact problem was. After dessert, the guests had to clean up themselves. This was obviously done to help the already disappointed bride and groom. The rooms were also a complete disaster. They had been renovated, but very poorly furnished. They definitely didn't want to spend any more money on the furnishings. Luckily, we only had to stay one night. Although we were lucky to get a room. Other guests were canceled less than two days in advance because the work wasn't finished. They suggested booking in the neighboring village 3 km away, but there were no taxis running from there. Wow, what an alternative! The overpriced breakfast didn't exactly shine with variety. I think you'd just go to any discount store to buy sausage. The original menu only offered two cold cuts, some cheese, jam, and muesli, and that for the hefty price of €14 per person. The orange juice was constantly empty, as they only provided a carafe for a wedding party. The breakfast room was also very cramped; you could hardly get through to your table. As soon as the owners entered the room to have breakfast, the mood changed. Everyone felt visibly uncomfortable, and quickly left. After breakfast, we were finally allowed to leave. I had already left a wordless review, but it has now been reported because people here are trying to get rid of the bad reviews. I don't think they're doing themselves any favors either, as I really have nothing positive to report.
