"The hotel is somewhat distant from the city center, but since Gdansk is a small city, you can still easily walk to the main street in about 15 minutes. The room is comfortable, and the staff are very friendly. However, there was a lingering smell of vapes in the room, likely left by a previous guest. That said, this is not the hotel's fault."
"It was a very warm night!
It is right at the entrance of the old town, so it is convenient to take a taxi, and you don’t have to carry your luggage on the cobblestone road in the old town!
The hotel feels very warm and new! I will stay here again next time."

"Excellent apartments in the old city! Very pleased the location 👍 In the room all was enough, minus - hot water ended very quickly and very thin walls. But if you respect your neighbors and observe the noise regime - everything will be acceptable. We are very happy with our accommodation!"
"Very clean and cozy apartment in the very center of Gdansk, literally right behind the Neptune Fountain, close to Długi Targ, quite a short walk to the Main Railway Station and to the Gdansk Śródmieście station. Clean room, bedroom and very comfortable bed. The sofa creaks a little but it is really comfortable. Clean bathroom and washing machine. Fully equipped kitchen, dishwasher, microwave, dishes, cutlery and water and coffee. Really worth it. I recommend."
"The hotel is not in the city center and the old city. It takes about15-20 minutes to walk to other attractions such as the old city. It takes about 15 minutes to ride the scooter to the central railway station. But it is not very biased. There are big intersections next to it. It feels safe to go back at night. The hotel seems to be in a conservatory. There are many young students coming and going every morning and evening. They are also very quiet and not very noisy.
The hotel lobby door is very small and retro, a bit difficult to find, at first it seems that I went wrong to someone else's college 🤣 Although I arrived before the specified check-in time, I just checked in directly after the room was cleaned. ~
The service attitude of the front desk staff and the room department staff is very good. When there is a need to supplement the items in the room, the room department staff very enthusiastically gave me a lot of things 😆
The single room is quite spacious and the suitcase can be opened. The window opens and the ventilation effect is very good. Although it faces the main road, the sound insulation effect is very good after closing the window, but the sound insulation between the room door and the floor is not very good. I am too tired and the quality of sleep is not bad, so it did not affect me ~ The internal hygiene and bed quality of the room are OK. Although it is an old hotel, the quality of various facilities is quite good. ~
The door of the room is opened and locked with a key. Although there is no key outside, it cannot be opened, but it is still used to lock the door for safety reasons. The key and the power card are connected together, and every time the door is closed, the scene of the flashlight locking the door in the dark is a bit inconvenient...
I have not eaten in the hotel restaurant, so I don't know how the quality of the restaurant is, it is not good to evaluate.
All in all, it is quite comfortable to travel to Gdansk for three days here alone."

Great
GGuest UserThe location is right next to Amber Street. The scenery outside the room we stayed in was very good, and the facilities were very clean. I lived in several hotels in Europe. There was this one that provided drinking water and hot water.
GGuest UserThe location is absolutely superb, right next to the train station. It's incredibly convenient for getting around, whether by tram, bus, or even just walking to the sights. When coming from the station, simply use the underpass to cross the road, and you'll find an elevator on your right – a lifesaver if you're traveling with heavy luggage, as you can completely avoid stairs! Breakfast offered a delicious and wide variety of options, all of excellent quality!
GGuest UserDear IBB Hotel Management Team,
I recently had the pleasure of staying at the IBB Hotel in Gdansk and I am writing to express my gratitude and appreciation.
First of all, the hotel's location is excellent. It is conveniently located in the center of Gdansk, with many famous attractions within walking distance. It is undoubtedly an ideal place to stay for tourists who like to explore the city.
Secondly, the hotel's facilities and the quality of the rooms are excellent. The rooms are spacious and bright, with modern and comfortable decoration and all the necessary facilities. The daily room cleaning service is also very good and maintains a high standard of hygiene.
In addition, the hotel's breakfast is rich and varied, with a wide variety of options to suit all tastes. The elegant environment of the restaurant and the friendly and professional service staff make every day a particularly pleasant start.
What impressed me most was the hotel's service. The front desk staff was very enthusiastic and responsive. Not only did they provide a lot of useful information about the tour, but they were also ready to solve any problems we encountered during our stay. This meticulous care made our stay even more perfect.
Overall, IBB Hotel Gdansk was a highlight of my trip with its great location, quality facilities and excellent service. I would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to all travelers planning to visit Gdansk.
Thank you IBB Hotel for providing us with such a pleasant stay. I look forward to visiting again in the future.

Great
MMichelleWe checked at the hotel about 9 am, but there may be no one checked in the night before, so the counter brother let us enter the room early (can not be asked, please do not unreasonable request) and sent a magnet for the appearance of the hotel at check-in. The milk sugar on the towel is super delicious.
The hotel is located next to St. Mary's Church, outside is Amber Street, there are quite a lot of accessories to choose to buy back as a gift, the price is not expensive and beautiful. 5-10 minutes walk is the square area, there are many restaurants and bars to choose from, not far from the river. Rossmann (similar to drugstore + supermarket) is available for a 3-minute walk to buy a variety of necessities.
It is a 20-minute walk from Gdask Gowny Railway Station. It takes about 10-15PLN by taxi. If you want to call Uber or Bolt from the hotel to go to other places, you must go to the periphery to set pickup point . .
The overall personal accommodation experience is very good, but the hotel may not be suitable for the elderly without elevator.
GGuest UserIt is good in terms of location.
It was horrible because an african woman lives there who has anger issues and keeps harassing other guests. She’s calling everyone a racist and assaulted me in front of the staff when I told the receptionist she kept slamming doors for hours in a row. She called me ‘*****’ and ‘piece of ****’ later in the kitchen, pretending to be on the phone. Many guests complained about her, however the hostel does nothing about it. The manager says ‘it’s not her job’
They have bed bugs and the last night I got bites that swelled up like a balloon.
Also they are faking their reviews on ***********. I saw some rather concerning reviews the other day but when I checked again they were gone.
Probably one of the worst hostel experiences ever I left after two days and it was too long already.

Very Good
GGuest UserLovely hotel, modern, clean and convenient. Loved usinf the amenities and helped by friendly staff who answered all my queries and offered assistance.
GGuest UserVery pleasant stay. Check in was quick and easy. Room was cleaned well, nicely decorated, good lighting, comfortable mattress, clean towels and linens, refrigerator in room, free bottled water provided, good temperature control, good towels, nice bath products and good water pressure, great proximity to the Gdansk Oliwa train station. The only complaints would be lack of English cable stations (no CNN), I was unable to connect my HDMI device to the TV and some noises could be heard in my room from the hallway. Also there is currently a lot of street construction around the property. However, overall it was a great stay in a comfortable and inviting hotel.
KkthérèseNo Proper Air Conditioning – Uncomfortably Hot Stay
The apartment is in an excellent location—just a couple of minutes’ walk from Gdańsk Old Town—which is a real plus. It has all the basic amenities you’d expect: a washing machine, fridge, electric stove top, and the bathroom and bed were both clean and well-kept.
However, guests need to collect the apartment keys from a separate property management office rather than at the apartment itself, which is a bit inconvenient.
More importantly, the lack of a proper air conditioning unit really undermined the stay. The apartment only had a small, low-powered fan, which meant it was uncomfortably hot from the moment I arrived until I left. Sleeping at night was particularly difficult, even though the outside temperature was only in the high teens to low twenties—so I dread to think what it would be like during a real heatwave.
It’s a nice apartment in theory, but the absence of proper cooling makes it hard to recommend in warmer weather. After two nights, I moved to Apart Neptune in the Old Town, which had full air conditioning and was far more comfortable.
