The Cloud One Gdansk

Amazing location on Granary Island (Wyspa Spichrzów). Close to everything. Plenty of bars/restaurants on the same street. The hotel is part of Motel One. Breakfast was amazing, plently of options. Bar area is stunning and was busy every evening. Room was fairly small but big enough for the 2 of us.

We stayed at the hotel for five days. After our first night, we had to change rooms due to a leak from the air conditioning unit, which left the carpet soaking wet. On the third day, the staff didn’t recognize us and had to double-check whether our breakfast was included before allowing us into the restaurant. On the fourth day, housekeeping came at 3 PM—an hour after they themselves had said the service would end. By then, we had already taken care of getting new towels and toilet paper ourselves. We also sent a couple of items to be dry-cleaned, but when we tried to collect them, the staff refused to return them unless we paid immediately. This meant we couldn’t settle all charges upon check-out. On top of that, the payment system was down, so we had to postpone collecting our clothes until the next day. The air conditioning could neither be adjusted nor turned off, so the room was uncomfortably cold throughout our stay. The bathroom was also poorly designed: water from the shower would flood the entire floor, making it wet and chilly. It didn’t take long for the drain to become clogged as well. Although the hotel advertises room service, it was unavailable unless we specifically requested the menu. The elevator was unreliable and even came to an abrupt halt on one occasion, requiring us to manually restart it. We returned to The Cloud One, Gdansk after a week touring. Our room on this occasion was much smaller and just not quite as clean. The corridors on this floor - floor 6 were also not quite as clean and tidy as floor 2. The staff were as pleasant and helpful as before.

A great Hotle right in the heart of the Old Town .. well worth a visit .

Great value for money for short stay Stayed for two nights for a business trip. The hotel is modern, very clean and perfect located that suited my needs. The room was decently sized and so was the bathroom. The only negative point was the constant humming of the a/c which could not be turned down. The hotel did not offer other facilities so limited in that sense. Tea/coffee facility in the room were absent and no minibar. Breakfast was excellent with polish sourced delicacies. The bar looked quite well stocked but the prices were expensive when you consider the hotel is surrounded with many bars around. There have luggage holding services. All in all, had a good stay and would recommend.
