Country Roads Motor Inn Gayndah

We stayed for the night while visiting the town we had two rooms for our family of 6, staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Room are a nice size with a big comfy beds and ice cold air con. Rooms had everything you needed and appliances. Great location but what is always really amazing is this hotel is PET FRIENDLY which was perfect as we had our new puppy travelling with us. HIGHLY RECOMMEND is ever visiting the town of Gayndah ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Quite a nice surprise, only needing an overnight stay as passing through. Generous sized, near new rooms, well equipped, great to have a full size TV with good sound & colour (and reception!) Staff were laid-back, friendly & helpful. In-room meals were excellent with a complimentary beverage on offer at time of our stay. Bathroom well laid out and again, plenty of room, only downside was a crappy showerhead - one of those 'multi-function' jobs that didn't 'function' properly. Would definitely stay here again.

A number of issues. It claims 4 star status and charges 4 star prices, but is only 3 star, and is over-priced by at least $40 per night. The best feature is the bed, followed by the hot shower, but it was downhill from there. The pillows were all the same- hard and high- I'm used to a bit of a range when there are 4 to choose from. The floor is cold lino, with no mat anywhere. The aircon was reluctant to do much warming, even set on 22. Crockery had to be sourced from the Office- there were three mugs. Just two hard plastic chairs to sit on and no bedside clock. For the same money I've had a very comfortable room with a spa elsewhere.

Very friendly and efficient reception upon check-in. Reception area had various sized bottles of wine from "single" serve to full bottle of wine - great idea. There were also drinks (juices, water) and nibbles for sale. Covered parking outside room - handy. Room was excellent - a good size and very clean. Modern furnishings with usual amenities, eg. kettle, toaster, tea/coffee etc. The TV remote control was in a plastic bag after being wiped clean (sterilised) - top idea! Great shower with mixer tap (yay!). Shampoo/conditioner were in containers along with soap wash (although personal preference is a cake of soap). 2 bottles of complimentary water in the mini-fridge - how good is that! Comfortable bed - Blanket in between 2 sheets - better than a heavy bedspread. Good-sized TV with lots of stations to choose from. Firepit beside the pool was a great idea - chance to chat with other travellers. Gazebo was pretty at nights with fairy lights. We had a great home-made stone-cooked Pizza (Supreme $27) which we bought from reception - it was cooked on site that they deliver to your room. Only negative - our blinds wouldn't close properly and let light in during the night. Had a short but very enjoyable overnight stay. Would certainly stay here again!
