Premier Inn London Gatwick Airport (North Terminal) Hotel

Our flight from Paris to Gatwick got cancelled midnight because of bad weather, therefore we unfortunately could not make it to the hotel and the hotel refused to cancel our booking:(

Self check in, self service, no baggage drop off, opposite North Terminal, no amenities, suitable for early morning or late night travellers

Location is right next to Gatwick North Terminal. Hotel is very basic and ok for an overnight stay to catch an early morning flight, can’t expect too much. Room seems dusty and not very cleaned. The hotel gets very busy - it was a 2 hour wait for dinner, bar was very noisy and check-in reception was very crowded.  The worst part of the experience is the elevator! Very long wait from lower ground floor to go up to reception floor with long queue of many people with luggages waiting in line

The lifts were broken, and we had to carry our heavy suitcases up the stairs. The lifts are never sufficient for the number of guests. If you’re in a rush, you may need to allow an extra 20 minutes to wait for the lift to go up or down.

Helpful staff ,clean nice room  . Few mins walk to Gatwick north very good breakfast good value

Excellent location but the room felt very damp. Also the staff were insistent on using the self-checkout even though they weren’t busy at reception. Not the kind of thing you want to be told after a long flight and arriving at midnight. For the price I paid I’d pay a little extra to get a room at a nicer hotel at Gatwick in future.
