Most beautiful scenery & resort outside Grand Junction. Equally impressive was the welcoming attitude & professionalism of every staff member we encountered during our stay. Special thanks to the concierge, Mike our guide for a jeep tour, & Matt our bar tender/server at the Cantina pool. We certainly hope to return for another stay.

The resort is tired, understaffed and the food is bad. The surroundings are beautiful and so we opted to do some trail walking. The trails are not signposted properly so taking a walk without a guide was difficult. One swimming pool was closed and the room which I reserved with a hot tub was not available upon check in because there was a problem with the hot tubs.

We added Gateway Resort & Spa as part of our 9 day road trip based on location. We could not have been more surprised when we arrived, very helpful and friendly staff, super accommodation and amenities with so much to see and do at the resort. Highly recommend and we’ll be back for sure!

If you want to get away and enjoy a beautiful resort and an amazing landscape in Colorado, this place is for you. Don't let the 1 hour drive from Grand Junction steer you away from this place, the drive is easy and gorgeous. We stayed in a casita with a perfect view of the Palisade. The staff is very accommodating and wants to make your stay special. We did an ATV adventure for 3 1/2 hours that I would highly recommend. Mike our guide was the best! Be prepared for getting dirty and having lots of laughs.

In short, love it and I hope to go back! The food should be much better and more consistent for a resort at this price point. Also the room service lacked property training, 2 different calls, same day would have highly different ordering experience. Again for a property like this, one would expect that the staff is well trained. The room service team was not well trained. Evidence was that the restaurant staff was not very well trained. The food was only okay, edible but not desirable.

This is a gorgeous property. We stayed in a casita, very luxurious. We attended a family wedding and had a blast! I've read some mixed reviews but we had a wonderful time!

Needed assistance with transportation issues during recent stay. Staff could not have been less helpful or more disinterested. Curt email reply from concierge was laughable. Coffee pods, mugs, creamers provided but coffee maker was awol- again no assistance from staff. Two stars only for pleasant restaurant staff and nice room.

Not worth the cost. Bathrooms not cleaned. Slow service. Abundant list of activities that seemed impossible to keep scheduled and only at certain inconvenient times. Understaffed, slow service at restaurants which is the only food for 45 min. Extremely uncomfortable pull out couch in at 500+ dollar room.
