Checked in quickly route to room was explained and easy to follow facilities were good room was clean burger king was convenient

It has been a wonderful experience

Managed to pick up this room for £25 so wasn't expecting much. However, it was a typical no-frills travelodge in a very convenient location, Plenty of parking space, Burger King, Subway and Fuel next door, also surprisingly quiet given it's location,

I stayed here for work, slight delay when checking in but staff member soon sorted it out. Standard Travelodge hotel but very clean, pleasant staff and food outlets on site.

When I booked this hotel it was clear there was no restaurant so to cover breakfast we booked the breakfast at £5.95 each. WHAT a mistake. First to get the food you had to go to reception which 99% of the time no one was there so had to ring to get someone to come to it. Second when we got the breakfast it was horrible and very small, the cake and flap jacket tasted terrible, there was only a very small amount of cornflakes the only things we used was thereVERY VERY small milk and water. The cost was vastly over price and rubbish in quality. The hotel its self could do with a good clean when we asked for a room refresh they took the rubbish and gave new towel and we assumed the bed would be changed and the floor cleaned again big mistake never did either. Bath was filthy enamel coming off and there were hairs in the plug hole, there was a mat stuck in the bottom of the bath and could not come out. disgusting .

This hotel is on a main road and nothing can be done about that, however the dual carriage way is currently closed overnight, so not only access is difficult after 8pm long diversions from one direction, the other way in you are guided in by a convoy vehicle. There is constant construction noise from the road surface being replaced including a constant beeping (like van reversing all night.) The hotel does know about it, how come there was no warning upon booking? I could have easily stayed at another Travelodge location nearby. Plus the car park was full of white vans to do with the resurfacing, making it tight to park. Add to this hotel is well out of date, did you know some locations still have actual keys and not key cards? This location does it shows how old this location is and how long since they have don a serious refurb. It also awful shower pressure, Bedroom clean but sparse. Worth no where near what they are charging per night even without the current construction noise.
