Premier Inn Newcastle (Team Valley)

Stayed here many times with work. Excellent location, super friendly staff and amazingly clean. Great value for money. Restaurant inside and bar which is a little expensive for what it is but there is a pub and carvery across the road (2mins walk). Parking is free and there is always loads of it. The hotel itself is on a bit of a retail park which can get busy at times but I’ve never struggled to park and I’ve stayed here at least 40 nights since April. I don’t write reviews to be fair. But credit where it is due.

on the whole this is a great hotel.however on the sunday the oven was not working and no continental breakfast was available i was not issued a refund for no breakfast.

Quick weekend stay as a base for going to Beamish. I had stopped at this hotel 3 year previous and enjoyed the stay so booked again for a good price. The hotel now looks like it needs a good clean. The rooms looked really run down with marks on all the walls and a grubby bathroom. The room was comfortable though and I slept well for the stay. The breakfast the next morning was disgusting. All the hot food was sat under lamps, dried up and it all tasted horrible, it really was not edible and given the selection and quality is really expensive for the price they charge, I would eat of site if you plan on eating.

Staff wonderful, food good, hotel clean, beds comfotable. Good value for money. My first time staying at a Premier Inn, I.d recommend it to others.

The area was decent but the hotel itself is one to avoid. Premier inn’s are usually good but the first member of staff we met, the lady at the desk to check us in was miserable, didn’t smile once. Asked if we could check in early by any chance at 1:45pm… not unless we pay £15. Paid the £15 and got given a crap room. Right above the fans for what I assumed was the kitchen as there was no air con in the rooms, but it couldn’t have been any louder - all day and night. Was also above the back door so just over the bins and hearing deliveries being dropped off - no consideration for people staying there. Staff smoking under the window too so the room would stink. No mini fridge in the room either, so when there’s no air con in the room your drinks just get warm. Asked at reception for a room with a fridge and apparently none of them have them… what year is it?

The perfect overnight accommodation for attending a party in the local area. Great room and friendly staff. Good choices on the meal deal option let me eat before heading to party and breakfast in the morning before heading home again. Would book again if back in the area.
