This hotel should not be rated at an 8.4. It is a 5 at best. Positives: close to restaurants and shopping, bed was comfortable. Negatives: customer service at check in ( the person couldn’t care less, said there were no extra blankets, offered us a decorative throw, didn’t even stand up, I had to practically climb over the counter to give her my ID). Was given an old,tired, room, chicklet sized pillows, frosted up fridge, gross tub with pink old on shower, black mold in the caulking, towels were old and thin. Room was not soundproof as there was someone pacing the floor above us all night long it seemed. Breakfast was ok…but not sanitary, probably not up to health department code. Mini fridge contained a jug of milk, a tub of margarine, a jar of grape jelly from Walmart. No napkins, just a role of paper towels. Just weird, obviously trying to save money. At check out, I was asked how my stay was. Manager told me there were better rooms he could give us next time. My sense was because I reserved on a booking site, we were assigned a sub par area of the hotel. Nope, there won’t be a next time.
