This is a gem of a hotel boasting excellent facilities, great rooms and fantastic staff who go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. The location is excellent, the views stunning. One of the most enjoyable stays we have had - I would recommend this hotel without reserve.

The hotel is conveniently located a leisurely 3 minutes from the old town and about 10 minutes walk to the train station (also the Zugspitze one). The hotel staff are super friendly and helpful, the facilities such as saunas, pool, relaxation area, lounge, etc. perfectly presented, clean, and comfortable. The entire hotel provides a relaxing ambience. The room was well appointed, bright, spacious yet cosy, the free mini bar as part of the Junior suite was a nice touch, large bathroom, balcony overlooking the mountains, overall really nice. The breakfast buffet provides many good choices l, many different breads, meats, cheeses, plus cooked to order dishes. Oooonly thing that wasn’t perfect for me was that the bed was a little too firm and pillows too soft. A minor thing considering how fabulous everything else is. Thank you to the hotel staff for making my stay so relaxing.

Our experience of the hotel was great. Everytime we had a request or a comment it was taken care of. The room was very confortable , the decoration is charming and the spa area is big, clean and offering many options (pool, two saunas, a hammam, a big jacuzzi, a relaxing room with beverages). You have to know that the sauna area is clothe free. Finally, the breakfast was excellent.

It's a great hotel, with exceptional service of staff, very nice details (like free afternoon snacks, dog friendliness). Room (junior suite) was spacious, spotless, nice mountain view, cleaned daily to a high standard. The only thing I would maybe change is to increase the temperature of the pool a bit. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place.

This was our second stay at Hotel Zugspitze and it was as wonderful as the previous year. All the staff are a pleasure and so helpful. Breakfast is a delicious, generous buffet. The pool and spa are clean and welcoming; my kids love the pool! This year dinner was included and I wondered if we would be bored of eating in the restaurant every night, but this was not the case. The staff thoughtfully reserved the same table every night for us and the meals were delicious. No regrets about going full board. I had a wonderful massage with Ilonka who is excellent. She kindly went out of her way to fit my massage into her busy schedule which I appreciate greatly. Thank you, Ilonka! We'll definitely be back another year as this is a lovely family treat!

Really friendly staff in a lovely hotel. Everything was perfect except for the showers which have no pressure and can go from hot to cold. This is a minor complaint in an exceptionally nice hotel

The Hotel Zugspitze offers an incredible staff, delicious food, stellar location, and amenities. We wish we lived closer so we could visit frequently. Frank was kind enough to make sure we were fed after a late arrival. However, the star of our stay was Jonathan, who was kind and helped us so much. We cannot wait for the opportunity to stay here again.

This is one of my new favorite hotels! I will definitely be coming back again and again. The customer service is incredible - I always felt a warm welcome and friendly but professional staff. The rooms were incredibly clean and the bed was so comfortable. We were lucky enough to get a reservation at the restaurant which was par for the course with amazing food and service! Highly recommend! You will need at least two nights, if not more!

This was our 2nd time staying here, the first in winter-time. We were in the midst of a quite major snowstorm and there is nowhere I would have rather been. It was so comfortable and cozy in this hotel. The food is always excellent and there is so much of it. Absolute heaven. The proximity to the town and hiking trails could not be better. We spent a lot of time exploring the trails in the snow, returning to the hotel for hot drinks, roaring fire and friendly staff.
And -- the "visit" by St. Nikolaus on Niklaustag was extremely special. The extras just make this place one of our favorites.
