We stayed at the Bay View Apartments for the first three days of our trip to Iceland and it was an amazing way to be introduced to such an incredible place. The apartments are as described: luxurious, clean, comfortable and with jaw dropping views. The location is stunning and a perfect base-camp from which to explore the Reykjanes Peninsula. The hosts are wonderful and accommodating and we will definitely choose this place again on our next trip to Iceland which I'm already dreaming about.

We stayed at the Bay View Apartments in Gardur the night before an early morning flight. The apartment is luxurious and includes a large modern kitchen with great appliances, a dining room & lounge, 2 bedrooms & a spectacular bathroom. The large hot tub in the bathroom opens out to the sea with full length glass windows. A long soak in this is a must. There is a great selection of wines in the fridge which works on a user pay system. You can self-cater or source meals from the nearby restaurants in Gardur or Keflavik. The drive to the airport was only 15 minutes which is a great advantage for all the early morning flights out of Jeflavik airport. This place is the perfect place to stay for a night of luxury before your flight home.
