Hotel Monte Baldo e Villa Acquarone

What an absolutely stunning Villa just arrived home from a very relaxing few days for my birthday, booked as a surprise by my friends. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful and welcoming we have had the most wonderful stay. The 2 bedroom room was amazing, with a view to die for, the food delicious and the wine excellent. Highly recommend and certainly will be back. Thank you everyone xx

I had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Monte Baldo on Lake Garda, and it was truly an exceptional experience. The location is simply perfect—right on the lakefront, offering breathtaking views that look like they belong on a postcard. The rooms are elegant, impeccably clean, and thoughtfully designed, with modern comforts. The staff is incredibly kind and attentive, always ready to assist with genuine warmth. A special thanks to the reception team for their professional and welcoming approach. Breakfast is a highlight: generous, varied, and served right on the lake with an unbeatable view that makes every morning feel special. The attention to detail, the peaceful atmosphere, and the natural beauty surrounding the hotel make Monte Baldo the ideal choice for both romantic getaways and relaxing holidays. Highly recommended! We’ll definitely be back.

We went back again, which already tells a lot aobut this hotel. We stayed in one of the refurbished rooms on the first floor if the villa - a very special experience. The lake was a little cool this year so only the very hardy were swiming in the lake, Nevertheless the amosphere in the hotel was charming and hospitable as always. One gripe: Enormous cars are demanding ever more parking space inside the hotel grounds, so the greenery is being sacrificed. I don't want to spend my holiday in a parking lot.

My partner and I stayed for 8 nights. We loved everything about the hotel. One of the best parts was eating breakfast by the water edge. Beautiful scenery, tasty fresh fruit every day and very friendly staff. We also loved the access directly into the lake to cool down. Location for us was perfect, ferry and buses only a couple of hundred metres away. We will be back!!

Monte Balde Hotel has an excellent location and staff, super attentive. Dinner at the hotel restaurant was also really nice! We were a group of 24 and the hotel staff catered to all our needs, incl. organization of green fees, transport, activities etc.

We chose this hotel for the location: On the lake, to the west, between the picturesque villages up north and Sirmione to the south. The location was perfect but more than that, we were so pleasantly surprised by this gem of a hotel! We were welcomed like family. Those behind the front desk or working in the dining rooms were friendly, professional and so very knowledgable about where to go, how to get there and could communicate all of this information in Italien, French, English and German (maybe more?)! Our room was the cleanest ever, beautifully and simply decorated, very functional and lovely! We looked out on the lake from the third floor and it was perfect! We enjoyed a complete breakfast buffet every morning: pastries, breads/spreads, eggs, bacon, yogurts, cereal, fresh fruit, cheese, charcuterie, juices, and hot drinks ordered upon arrival. We did not have lunch or dinner at the hotel. The hotel is located about a five minute walk from the village center where there are shops, restaurants and gelato! If one walks 15 minutes up the hill, there is the incredible domaine/museum/houses of the Italien poet Gabriele D'Annunzio. This was suggested by our hosts and a fantastic morning activity! Though this hotel is a bit out of a village, that is what we liked best! It was wonderful to go back to this gorgeous oasis after a busy day of touring Lake Garda!
