We are returning guests and once again had a great stay. Good location with eats nearby. Sean is a great morning host and who can pass up a fresh donut.

This was such a spacious room. The staff was helpful with our very late check in. I loved the live edge wooden vanity top. Such a cute, clean and comfortable room on a budget.

Dumpy place. Don’t trust the rating on this place. It’s a 5 out of 10 at best. Cheap but not worth it.

We went for the wine walk. It was the perfect area. Next time I'll get a ride to the starting area then walk home! Staff was quick with requests & very helpful

Truly, one of the best stays I’ve had in a very long time! Absolutely love this town and all its historic properties. The hotel was absolutely amazing. I will definitely be staying at this place every time I visit.

I highly recommend the Historian Inn.
My room was very clean and comfortable and had a somewhat quaint feel, which was carried over from the warm, charming lobby.
The staff was very nice and capable.
About that clean room, I note that even though I didn't have a pet, I was given a pet friendly room, since all the no pet rooms were taken. And the room I got was still perfectly clean.

My only problem was I asked to change to a downstairs room as my mom hurt her knee but they said no and they were not full at the time

Little Costly last minute because I was screwed out of a room at the other end of town but this place is definitely the way to go. Food in all directions. Rooms are comfy and are a good place to digest JTs food from across the street.
