We have just returned from our second visit to this wonderful hotel. The staff are just great. They were so helpful & friendly. Some of them remembered us from last year. The hotel is in the perfect location. Right beside the lake, 5 mins walk to bus station and town and 10 mins to ferry. There are many bars and restaurants within easy walking distance. The rooms are very comfortable & spotlessly clean as is the rest of the hotel. The air con was the best I have come across & there are tea and coffee making facilities. Breakfast was lovely with plenty of variety. It was lovely to sit outside eating it.

We have been here many times, so what keeps us coming back? It's in a great location overlooking the lake in a prime spot. The staff are all very friendly and welcoming. The breakfasts are good and there is plenty of variety. The hotel gardens are a lovely peaceful place. The rooms we have had are clean and comfy, but the bathrooms are in a real need for modernisation. Expecting people to climb into a high sided bath without even a shower curtain to prevent the water going all over the place is poor in 2025, as is the health and safety of expecting guests of a certain age to cope with this isn't good. We love this place and will definitely be back, but the family needs to spend money on improvements. Another lovely day though.

The hotel is clean and very comfortable with a stunning view of the lake. The room is large and a lovely bathroom with bath. It is a lovely spot at the Lake and breakfast outside was just stunning. Plentiful choice and helpful staff even when arriving late from a flight . Would recommend and stay here again.

I have visited and stayed at many hotels around Lake Garda, but have to say, unfortunately, this was the worst and I would not recommend. I paid for the 'superior' room, for my son and myself because of the size. I dread to think what the other rooms were like. It was certainly a huge room, but felt empty, unwelcoming, very shabby and souless, it was also ant infested. Our outer door opened directly onto a terrace, which, although it had lovely views, was cracked and grubby, with lots of cigarette butts and with no privacy whatsoever.. Most of the other rooms, had little arched, covered spaces outside, but not our 'superior' one. You walked straight out into the public space and as it rained a lot we were unable to sit out, when it did, without getting wet through. Customer service was dreadful, no smiles or buongiorno's, you literally got stared at, the whole time, walking through, to the main door, which felt incredibly unnerving. The reception area was clean, but they mostly cleaned the floors during the day, while people were walking through and we were scolded in Italian, for walking on there, although there were no signs the floor was wet. The kettle in our room did not work, but after the third time of asking for a replacement and still not getting a working kettle, it felt too embarassing to ask again, as the staff seemed to find this a great inconvenience. They also took and kept our passports, until the day we left, which has never happened before. The hotels here, usually check, maybe take a photocopy and hand them back, straight away. Although it is very near the edge of the lake, a huge, very busy, public car park, is directly inbetween hotel and lake and is extremely noisy. Also, the edge of the lake i is near, it is not the accessible shoreline type, that you can walk down to..you need to walk quite a way to find any spot like this. I paid around £2,000 for a weeks stay there, for the two of us, early in the season and do not feel it was worth even half of that, and I comment as a very seasoned traveller, with good knowledge of pricings around the lake. Lake Garda, is probably my favourite place to visit and I am currently staying at an excellent hotel, in Malcesine, while writing this, where the difference between the two is night and day, in every way. I would not stay at the Terminus again, if it was free. It was a very unsettling and negative experience. The only visit to the Lake, ever, I wished I had not taken. I felt I needed another break, to recover from this one, after returning.

We visited for a week in June 2024. The hotel is traditional/dated but served us well. The room was super spacious and had a triple wardrobe with plenty of hangers. The bathroom was also large. The balcony could do with some renovation as it looked a bit shabby but we didn’t use it anyway with being out for long days exploring so it did not matter to us. The hotel is situated in an ideal location, a 5 minute walk from the bus station. We found we used the buses more than the ferry from Garda as they were more frequent and went to more areas than the ferry route from Garda did. The hotel staff are very friendly and the staff in reception often gave us travel tips and advice. Breakfast had plenty of selection and seating. You could sit outside but strangely we were not allowed to sit on the tables on the grass which was a shame as it looked beautiful and peaceful. Maybe it was because it had rained a lot recently and would spoil the grass. There are many great lake front restaurants and bars near by but far enough way for it to be quiet at night time. The lake front is just stunning! There is also a market outside of the hotel on certain days. The transfer is about 30-40 minutes from the airport. We enjoyed visits to Bardolino (walked from the hotel), Sirmione, Limone, Lasize, Pescheria, Verona, Venice, the Dolomites and more. The hotel is basic but this is reflected in the price. It had everything we needed and was in the perfect location. Thank you for such a lovely stay during our first time (and not last!) time in Italy!

Our third stay at this hotel. Always a friendly welcome greeting from all staff. Very clean and comfortable rooms and common areas. Good choice of hot and cold breakfast items. Fresh towels every day and rooms perfectly cleaned. Drinks from the bar and also the room bar were very reasonably priced. Excellent location for shops, resaurants, bus station and ferry port and also for lakeside walking. Once again thanks to all the staff for helping us to have another really special holiday. Grazie mille.

Lovely old hotel in excellent location, with a very attractive garden albeit that the lake front had to be accessed over a busy car parking area . The exterior of the building is in need of substantial renovation. The sun deck above the dining room is shabby and needs recoating. Our room (326) was poorly laid out and was gloomy due to the loss of a window as a result of a previous change of room layout on that floor. This left the room very uninviting/unwelcoming . The room was clean as was the rest of the hotel. Can't fault the service of the members of staff who were all excellent. The breakfast was good but not the best we have had. The picture shown on Trip Advisor is not the hotel. There is a noisy busy road at the back of the hotel. Still had a lovely time in Garda.
