I booked two consecutive nights, but the hotel staff called me around 5pm the next day and asked if I wanted to extend my stay, which left me a little confused. Later I found out that the front desk only booked me for one night when I checked in on the first day. When we got to the room, we found that it was facing the street and it was very noisy early in the morning. In this case, the front desk can just skip the process of asking guests questions, it does not make any sense.
