if you are looking for luxury then maybe the Oom Piet may not be for you but if you are looking for affordable clean accommodations, then we would recommend the Oom Piet. We were warmly greeted by the owner and he and his wife were very helpful with their recommendations. Beautiful view from our patio and my husband got a kick out of having an indoor braii.

Very accommodating and friendly owners. Everything is there as needed. I would have preferred a proper stove top and oven as there is only a small oven with hot plate but for someone who does not cook much at home this would be adequate. The weather was cold so I appreciated the wall heater to keep us warm.

experienced heavy rainy & windy weather, but found good shelter at Oom Piet. the view from the upstairs balcony is stunning, which we could not enjoy. with good weather for sure again.

Absolutely calming & relaxing. The unit had everything and very clean. Host was friendly & helpful. Definitely will book again for a few days longer!
