We’d done a long hike from Ganllwyd and got drenched. Walking back to the car we came upon Tyn-y-Groes Inn. We ventured in and were greeted by friendly welcoming staff. We got hot and cold drinks and bar snacks, but were also offered cakes. We sat by the raging fire, dried out and relaxed. Toilets were clean and they have a pool room too.

Called in for coffee and snacks, had cheese and onion toasties which were nice and filling, played darts and pool, friendly landlady who told us about the history of the pub and the hopes she has for the future with the pub.

Beautiful building, lovely staff.. When we arrived we got a beautiful room, nice, clean, with all sorts of tea and coffee… We also enjoyed the food in the restaurant.. The surroundings are also amazing! We loved everything about our stay in beautiful wales!

Absolutely lovely pub and inn. Good selection of beer and cider. Nice games room for pool darts and dominoes. Staff are friendly and polite. Well worth a visit. The beer garden is very comfortable and the establishment as a whole is very clean and tidy. Recently re renovated. 5/5
