I booked to stay one night with my father. Their staff are so amazing they changed the room immediately as my father could not walk too many stairs. So I would like to say their staff and hospitality is top notch.
The room was really nice however there was a sound that came from the kitchen exhaust which was like a generator. So until the kitchen shut at 10pm this noise was there. This is the only negative part of my stay. The other suggestion I have is to have some room to do exercises or games room or something.
Its an amazing property. Loved it.

Wonderful location, beautiful heritage property that is well maintained. Food was great and sitting outdoors for a cup of tea was lovely. Great example of professional, warm and top quality hospitality. Breakfast was the only meal that I believe could have been better.

This is a heritage hotel, so you must not expect sparkling glass doors like Sofitel hotels and rain showers and fancy digitally operated rooms. What it provides instead is the history of the place, it's old grandeur and aura. Yes the lobby is a little startling with turquoise furniture, but think French decor and all is cheerful and bright. What is fabulous is the well experienced staff who anticipate and accomplish anything you could ever think of service-wise. It is great to watch the care in cleaning the premises, the landscaped garden and the variety of food and the manner in which it is served. When ccasionally there were only a few of us for dinner, we were served with utmost care and we could easily imagine ourselves as members of royalty for that dinner. Otherwise there was a good buffet spread. We had excellent service from the staff with special mention to Ashish and the other managers. The dining room overlooks the beautiful garden that in turn overlooks a FB stadium. Traffic can be messy if there is a match going on, and more so if a VIP chooses to attend. On another note the shower heads are weak and the bath tub is not easy to navigate, especially if you haven't lifted your foot more than 8" per step for a long period and now have to climb over a tub. :) As stated previously this is a heritage hotel.... expectations should be made with that in mind. The management and staff made up for all that the hotel construction left desired. We had a wonderful stay here and we sincerely appreciated all the plus points this hotel provided.

Excellent stay, tasty food, most efficient service from Reception to Restaurant & house keeping too ! Very homely & caring staff, neat, clean & tidy ambiance & room ! Vasudev & Sharmila at Reception, Sudip Sen, Raj Kishor, Ganesh & all supporting staff at Restaurant red special appreciation ! A lovely place in Gangtok, as beautiful as city itself ! Best wishes !! Great place to stay in Gangtok. Our room opened to the view of Football stadium, with hills on the background. Entire staff starting with front desk, restaurant and housekeeping is very courteous and attentive. Great food, good rooms, hospitable staff, convenient location (15 mins walk from MG Marg) made our stay memorable. We got lucky with some local Sikkimese vegetables as part of dinner menu :-)

Property was amazing location wise ambient wise. Raj Kishore ji was great at hospitality at dinner place. if u are lucky u cab watch a free league match as sikkim football stadium is greatly visible from property. The buffet spread and taste were good too

Hotel was very nice and cosy. Not very big. the staff were friendly and excellent in service. We had taken half boarding which included breakfast and dinner. The food was quite good with lot of veg options. The food manager also took our suggestions and prepared specific dishes for us which really needs to be appreciated. The hotel is also close to MG Market where there is lot of shopping.

Oh amazing stay, Room was amazing. The staff very loving and caring. We loved the way they served us breakfast and dinner. The staff asked us lovingly should we bring any food for youll. And they were always around to serve us. Food was excellent. Will miss the all the staff.
