Let's begin with the positives. What got us there was the "Adult-only" thing, and yes, there aren't screaming kids. The front desk people are great people and some of the bartenders are skilled (while others can't read a recipe). Most of the staff were very helpful overall. The airconditioning is a unit per room, which is a godsent. There are roller blinds on the outside, so heat and sun can be shut out completely. The atmosphere and pool's nice, the area around it, less so. Now the rest. The rooms: The beds were stiff, and only came with 1 long and way too soft pillow that we had to share. The AC unit is positioned right above your bed so you can't really sleep with it on unless you love waking up with a stiff neck. The bathroom still is from the 80's, including the taps and are in dire need of a refurb. We couldn't go out on our balcony because there was a wasp nest right under the terracota tiled roof from the room below. The door to the room's fitted with a cheap aftermarket entry lock that needed a piece cut out of the frame, which in turn is a pinching hazard. The food: The bar food wasn't cooked properly, as i had a still half cold pinsa and my husband had a uneven cooked burger. We immediately decided not to eat anything other than the included breakfast, there are definitely better lunch and dinner options outside, even a 3 euro mercadona salad had more flavour. The breakfast itself was lackluster and only improved marginally when it was the weekend. The pool area: Honestly, the pavilion they have is in dire need of repair and just some decoration. The grounds are maintained at a bare minimum. All in all, never booking here again.
