Our stay at Taj Gandhinagar was a mixed experience. While the food was decent, it didn’t particularly stand out. The biggest issue we faced was with the electricity—there were frequent power disruptions, which caused the air conditioning to turn off multiple times throughout the night. As a result, we had to wake up at least five times just to switch it back on, making it quite difficult to get a restful sleep. For a hotel of this caliber, we expected a much smoother experience in terms of basic amenities.

What a hospitality..! amazing and pleasant stay over there... Very nice service and breakfast menu. Ritu gupta is a beautiful girl who welcomes u at the entrance.

Pathetic Front office service. I came with my family and took 3 rooms. I gave front office shruti to redeem the 45k vouchers specifically starting with 10k vouchers. She redeemed the vouchers in wrong order and is causing me a loss of 5000. They refuse to change anything in the same even though it is their mistake. Utkarsh has told me to look into it. Will update this review.

Chefs Manish, Manoj, and Nikhil prepared outstanding food and ensured we had multiple delicious Jain options available on demand. The quality and variety were truly impressive. Service by Nayna was equally commendable — attentive, friendly, and impressively quick. Highly recommend for both food and service!

Chef Manoj is the USP of this property....must visit for food and hospitality...must try mutton kasa ,special mention to Chef Manish, Chef sagir best mutton kasa and we tried adahi Bara aloo dum the Chef special..mustest try. Loved the experience and ufff the food amazing

Taj Gandhinagar is a place to unwind, relax and soak in the vibe of rural Gujarat. The team led by Amit ji (the GM) is superlative. His leadership is reflective in his team's ethos. Notable mentions include the brilliant Utkarsh (the ever present duty manager), Exec chef Manish Sharma, Chief Chef Manoj ji and Sous Chef Saahil. Their support team is no less. They truly care. Perfection is hard to achieve, but the point is that they try and address any lacuna with a truly receptive mindset. Feedback is taken seriously and promptly addressed. Amit ji himself is a treasure trove of stories, and finds time to engage with guests even in the busiest of schedules. Five stars to the team. One suggestion for Taj would be to make the spa more accessible - especially Sauna which is a part of chargeable package. Only jacuzzi and steam are included. Spa at properties like Marriott (and its brands), Radisson, Novotel, Wyndham and even Vivanta is significantly cheaper (about a third to about a fifth) than the spa at Taj. Stayed 5 days in Aug/Sep 2025.
