Ramada Provincial Inn 1000 Islands/Gananoque

Sid, was extremely accomodating and understanding of our needs. We were two couples that were spending the night in Gananoque and we were both very surprised at our accomodations. The rooms were very spacious and clean even right down to the shampoo and creams as they weren't the cheap stuff that you usually get in a hotel and what they had was Dove. We had adjoing rooms which was a pleasant surprise. I would highly recommend to anybody that this place is one of the best places I have stayed at. The food was very good and they had a great selection for a continental breakfast.

I asked for a receipt for the room when I dropped off my room card.  I was told I would get an email with the receipt and I never received one.  I need this to be reinbursed for work. Not impressed. Sonia

Good on budget

Location was good. Not impressed with the breakfast selection. Our room was supposed to have a garden view but I don't think any of the rooms actually have a view. Tiny window above the toilet that I think looks out into greenery is what i think they call the "view" and that window and screen are covered in bugs. When we turned on the fan for the bathroom there was a stench of ****. On what I assume was like a mattress cover was covered in hair really disgusting. Toilet paper holder was broken. Shower was large and clean. the room was spacious with good storage. Adirondack chair in front of room could use a paint job and some cleaning. Overall not really impressed for what I paid for. 

This hotel was a gem. Surprisingly it’s quite a cozy hotel and conveniently located to food outlets and a ******. Starbuck’s and Tim Horton’s is within a two minute walk to get your caffeine fix. The rooms are arranged like a motel style and you can drive right up to the front door of your room and park your car. The buffet breakfast was simple but for this price you can’t expect much. It’s about a 5 minute drive to Gananoque city centre and waterfront where the boat tours are located. It’s a good hotel for kids as they have a large outdoor pool and also a large grass area for kids to run around. The only negative is the water pressure for the shower but otherwise all else was good. If you’re looking for a quiet and quaint hotel, this is the place for you. From the outside it looks quite disappointing but once you see the inside of the main building and the inside of your room, you will be surprised. I would come back and stay at this hotel if I am ever in the area.

It was an enjoyable stay I highly recommend this place and would come back again in the future
