"The hotel is very clean and quiet. There is a bathtub and it is very comfortable to take a bubble bath when tired. The service staff is very warm and polite. The breakfast is not much but it is very good. If you buy cold meals and hot meals at different prices on the morning, it is cheaper to buy them all one day in advance."
"Very noisy after 1pm but that's expected but why have a bright green light on the ceiling like, needed black tape but unfortunately had none so sleepless kinda night"
"Very clean and well-kept hotel, super friendly staff. Perfect if you have a car: the hotel allows you to have a reduced price (we paid 12 euros for about 15 hours) for the parking nearby. The hotel is also in a central location: in less than 5 minutes on foot you are in the Latin Quarter"
"The room was generally great, and its proximity to all the attractions was a big plus. The complimentary water and snacks in the fridge were a fantastic touch! The only minor issue was the fan being a bit noisy, but it could easily be switched off."
"I can’t recommend this place enough.Beautiful spaces, calm, serene and fun at the same time.Artsy pieces of decor scream elegance and sophistication of this modern hotel.i love it and it’s my Galway home from now onwards 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽"
"It takes about ten minutes to walk from Galway Railway Station. It is not in the center and the location is a bit remote. But the room is big enough and the bed is very big. However, it is not cleaned every day and you have to stand in the bathtub to take a shower, which is not very convenient. Convenient, overall satisfied!"
"We were given a beautiful room over looking the Circle of Life garden and the sea further on. See photo. Noise from jacuzzi below was bothersome in the morning and I had requested a quiet room, which it was apart from the engines bubbling below. Service in restaurant was incredibly slow for breakfast. Breakfast offering was good; not much pastry wise, but lots of fruits, gorgeous cheese, avocados even, good quality Oj. But the Coffee was sludge and undrinkable. Though the View over Galway bay is beyond compare. Room was comfortable though dated but very clean except at one point in the shower I looked down to see a chunk of long black hair stuck to my foot… 2000% not mine. That was pretty gross. It must have been sitting in the drain as I’d have noticed before getting in. Cockroaches in the shower are a more welcome site than that. Bathroom is modern and shower had good power. Bed was soft but comfortable. Staff throughout the hotel were friendly and helpful. Pool is small, sauna is great. Pool not too clean/ Two discarded plasters on the side. Location is unbeatable."

9.2/10
Great
LlimhansGreat place that I will definitely recommend to anyone. Location is central, easy to get to almost anywhere. Reception staff are friendly and resourceful, providing informations that you’ll need (such as things to do and places to go in Galway, tours available, and even the best pubs and food areas around) during check-in.
Common area is simply amazing. Room is clean and cosy with comfy beddings. Bathroom is clean and considerably big.
10/10 experience over here!
EEzzadventurerThis hostel exceeded expectations, for me.
The rooms had comfy beds, large lockers and air-con. The free breakfast was delicious and home made and they even do family dinner each night which is great value and a fun way to meet people. The bathrooms were basic but functional and clean and I didn't have to wait for a shower.
The pub downstairs was lively and good value.
I would suggest bringing ear plugs though as the live music goes on quite late some nights so if you want to sleep you'll need them.
GGuest UserNox Hotel in Galway impresses with its modern, chic decor and attentive staff, making it a standout accommodation choice. The rooms are exceptionally clean and well-appointed, offering comfort and convenience. Minor issues are only occasional noise levels, but overall, the experience is delightful, deserving a 4.5 out of 5 stars.
AAnonymous UserI arrived late at night, but it's in a quiet area. However, it's far from the station, so it's better to take the bus. There is a supermarket on the way. If you head towards the beach, there are bakeries and small shops.
The room was clean and the shower worked without any problems. There are towels, power outlets, and other necessities. You can help yourself to tea at the cafe, so be sure to check it out.
GGuest UserThe location is very good, just a few steps away from the city center and the park
The room is very clean and very large, and the facilities are very new and perfect
The room service is very good. I asked for a sewing kit and it was delivered within five minutes.
GGuest UserI couldn’t ask for anyone better than Amanda to have checked me in.She was beyond helpful, cheerful and very considerate. The hotel is lovely, close to hospitals but has no pool if you need one.It was crazy busy but there wasn’t a sound at night.I would stay again for sure.
GGuest UserBeautiful hotel, overlooking the water. Pool with sauna, steam room and an outdoor hot tub. Wonderful breakfast. overall a great experience. Walking distance to all you would want in Galway. Wonderful staff to direct you for whatever you need.
HHappy Trip@worldThis is my terrible experience during my Ireland trip. No aircondition, double lock out of order, iron doesnt work When we reported those issues to reception, no fixing, no room change arranged. 10mins later, they sent me an iron 😔
As viewed, the hotel lobby is nice & good beakfast. Hope they have improvement in future. 🙏
JjfshVery convenient location - just a minute or two walk from the train station. Room was clean, facilities were reasonable for the price. The issue we did have though was not receiving any check-in details prior to arriving in the evening. While trying to check in, a few groups managed to check in - having received earlier that day an email from the accommodation. For whatever reason, we didn't get ours. After a number of messages/calls and seeking assistance from the hotel across the road, we managed to finally receive comms from the accommodation in order to gain entry. While the individual from Madison House was adamant they sent the email, they weren't able to provide proof of this upon request...
