Home2 Suites by Hilton Galveston

Hotel is Near the beach front and the room was nice and updated. Good views and enjoyed swimming in the pool. Would stay here again.

Great family friendly

I do not recommend Home2 Suites by Hilton. The room was not clean, the bed was not comfortable, and the sheets smelled used and stale. The free wifi is slow and cable did not work in the room. Luckily, I was able to log into my Netflix account which was a saving grace. Breakfast is subpar and specifically the sausage was way too salty. I stayed in room 220, which had a balcony, but it is right above the front entrance and is blocked by the car port, so you do not have a good view of the beach across street. Also, if you like noise, then this is the place for you! People playing loud music all night and stomping above us all night. It literally sounded like a pack of elephants were stomping above us. Not to mention the FIRE ALARM that went off at 4:30am in the morning! That of course, was a false alarm. The next morning we asked the front desk if we could change rooms and they said they were all booked. It was so bad, we left a day early because literally the noise and stomping never stopped! As we were checking out, the front desk was helping a lady book a room that same night. So how was it that when we asked to change to another room, they were all booked? I should have believed the bad reviews. In summary, I do NOT recommend and will not be returning. 1 out of 5 stars.

Front desk girls were very friendly. Room smelled wonderfully clean . We will definitely be back.

Hotel was nice a clean, they were very accommodating. Don’t like the parking fee but not bad price. I do wish they would take incidental out and the charge you for your room. I know they fall off. I feel like breakfasts was not very good. Food was dry and waffles had some weird seasoning.

We originally were supposed to stay in Houston for cancer trea**ent, but it was canceled, so we decided to head down to the coast. I booked this hotel at the last minute, not really knowing what I was getting in to. We enjoyed our experience here. The place was nice and right on the seawell. The room we stayed in had a small kitchen area that would be great for staying for an actual vacation. Will definitely book again.

My experience here was excellent except for the knocking every morning coming from a duct. It was room 311 so stay away from this room. Every morning from 5am-630 it went off constantly. I’m normally sleep around 1am so didn’t get much sleep ea night averaged about 4 hrs a night. I told the girl at the desk I even recorded the noise and let her hear it. It was loud I told her she should have someone look into it for the next person that would have to sleep in this room. We asked about another room but my husband was told fully booked. But rather than that it was clean and breakfast was good. Location is amazing right across from the beach. Staff was very friendly.

Very nice property. The biggest issue with us was the water pressure in the shower - it was SO bad.
