First time staying here. It was a beautiful property, very well maintained. The rooms were done very well, with an extremely comfortable bed and a very nicely appointed bathroom. We were there for a wedding. They do weddings extremely well. The facilities, timing, atmosphere and catering were top shelf. Of particular note, the food was outstanding. Everyone on staff, from our check in to our check out, was professional, approachable and pleasant. Look forward to staying there again.

I stayed here for one night because I was attending a memorial service for a family member. So, I was not interested in golfing. I imagine the place is much more attractive to people on a golfing trip. I also think this place is too expensive for what it is. It's old and charming, but just on the verge of becoming shabby. Still, the staff (reception area, food services, bellhops) were amazingly friendly and professional. I got the impression that they actually enjoy their jobs, and I hope this means that they are paid reasonably well --- and, if so, then the high price of this place is somewhat justified. After the memorial service, several of us had a late supper in the restaurant, spending time reminiscing. The restaurant was quiet enough for us to talk (and hear each other), and the server was attentive and friendly without being intrusive. We felt taken care of, at a somewhat stressful time. So, overall, this was really a nice experience.

We enjoyed our stay. The VIP complimentary upgrade was not honored, we were charged for the upgrade. No VIP services were provided.

Property was conveniently located to the conference I attended. I am in a wheelchair and the hotel is very accommodating. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful!

Spacious suite, comfortable bed. Very high priced drinks at bar, higher than *******. $14 for a small glass of vodka and Coke. Carpet had what looked like throw up stains over side of the bed. For over 400 a night, you wouldn’t expect this. Valet was fast and reasonable. Check in was quick and seamless. Very convenient to Atlantic City, 18 mins. Still a great getaway with my spouse.
