The location is very good, right in the center of the ancient city. The decoration of the hotel is blue and white porcelain style, giving people a sense of tranquility. There are three choices for breakfast. The price is absolutely good value for money!

Loved this place, it has a lot of personality. There are nicer but more expensive places in Galle, and there are cheaper and more run down places. This is the Goldilocks choice. It's a lovely little hotel with a few broken things in every room. In the hot off season, the shared areas are like sitting in a sauna, but there's a little garden pool to cool off in. The perfect walking distance to the fort, short eats, and every morning a different Sri Lankan breakfast. Proper tea service, small but attentive staff. The manager is so helpful, I was here for three things, touring Galle, a unique part of Sri Lanka, locating and visiting some locations where my late father grew up and went to college, and a bit of a religious pilgrimage. The manager, who speaks 5 languages, was ever so helpful in all three aspects of my visit. Up the hill are two more elegant hotels for dinner, down the hill are some really cheap local places to eat, don't miss lunch at the Ministry of Agriculture/ ministry of education canteen. Okay for an overnight, but I would recommend this one of a kind hotel for a few days stay. Especially in the off-season.

What a find ! Our large room was absolutely perfect - open the doors and there was the wonderful huge pool! Everything was so lovely, just as the pictures depicted - even better ! Breakfast was great, we had 2 meals at the hotel of an evening which were magnificent and set up poolside for us which was really lovely We were thrilled with our stay . The staff were delightful, helpful and kept the villa in such beautiful condition. Laundry was organised for us which was greatly appreciated as we were on a long trip and needed this done on short notice We cannot rate this Villa highly enough. This was our favourite hotel of our trip. It really was a slice of perfect paradise, from check in to check out . We stayed 3 nights and really wished we could have stayed longer. All the staff were fantastic, nothing seemed to be to much trouble for them. Everyone was extremely friendly and happy to have a chat. Our room was perfect, very spacious and clean. The balcony was a fantastic size. We were there on bed and breakfast but ended up eating lunch and dinner as the food was great, lots of choice and so fresh. It's in a great location, we walked to Galle and also up to Jungle Beach, but there are also plenty of tuk tuks. After travelling for a week it really was the perfect place to relax and unwind before we headed home.

We had an amazing experience at this place. The staff took very good care of us, both with transportation and other help we needed. The rooms were clean and cosy, the food was also excellent. We ended up eating almost every meal at the lodge because it was so good. We enjoyed staying at the lodge whole days because it was so good, especially the pool area. Other than that we had an amazing massage and also a river cruise starting from the hotel. This place is a must to stay at if you visiting Sri Lanka.

This hotel is the most impressive and satisfying one in the entire Sri Lankan itinerary. It completely exceeded expectations and surpassed the other two heritage hotels in my heart. The hotel has only 4 rooms with English-style butler service. It is very quiet and can provide better services. You can choose the breakfast you want according to your own taste (there are local style, Western European style and various options). You can tell the housekeeper the meal time and food the day before, and the next morning will be specially made for you and delivered to the room or in the room. The open-air dining bar at the entrance, anyway, the overall service is butler-style, plus the overall decoration style, this kind of style has only been seen in British dramas before, I really love this kind of place, if it is not for the next day, I really want to If you stay for a few more days, Galle itself is a bit similar to Gulangyu Island in China. It is very suitable for a leisurely vacation, and this kind of butler service is really relaxing.

We stayed here for a few days over New Year. After an initial issue with the room allocation, which was down to the booking not the host we settled in with one half of the family in the main villa and the other in the B&B a few doors down. All the rooms were clean and had what you needed in there and very authentic to the style of the area. Location wise, it's ideally located for exploring Galle, and we found the whole area very safe and welcoming. Breakfast was traditional Sri Lankan which was lovely. As we were a large group they ensued we had a table to ourselves. The staff were brilliant happy to help with bags, brollies and anything. But the star of he show was Samitha, she helped us organise some tours, tuk tuks, advise on where to eat and drink. We certainly recommend a few days here
