Postcard Galle is an oasis of peace on the busy road leading south to Galle. The only sounds you'll hear once you're inside are of birds and of the ocean. The views from the deck and sit outs are outstanding. The lounge chairs and diwans in the balconies and common areas are super cosy and it's very tempting to just laze around the property doing nothing all day. Our room was very comfortable and the staff are friendly. Bharat and his team had great suggestions right from outings to local walks to what we should eat. We had a couple of meals here and the food was delicious. I also loved the cocktails we tried - they're innovative with surprising flavours and had no added sugar!

They spoil you- whether it's the food, the comfort, or the warmth of the staff. The property is a little away from the main tourist area yet close to all the possible beautiful spots. From the moment you enter the property to when you leave, expect a super personalised experience. The quality of the stay was top-notch- no compromises whatsoever. Bharatvir (the manager) and his team are phenomenal.

I traveled by myself to this amazing hotel. I felt right at home the moment I walked in. The kind of hospitality and care, consideration and attention to detail is beyond anything I have experienced before. The view is spectacular, the place is secluded, the staff is extremely friendly and helpful, and everyone always has a smile. The food was all excellent too, as were the delectable cocktails- try the one with arrack! Every night I would come back to a cute towel sculpture on my bed- a rabbit, an elephant, a turtle… always made me laugh. I spent hours sitting on my verandah staring at the ocean. If you want to get away from the madness, this is for you. Quiet, private, beautiful, calm, and full of a warmth that feels like “home”. I would like to mention by name a few staff who made my stay so special for me: Bharatvir - the manager who was knowledgeable, extremely considerate, and knows exactly how to make a good moment better. Sandaruwan- always smiling and the artist behind the towel animals. Ramiz - always so attentive at meals, remembering how I like my coffee and fruits. Sandeep - the chef who kept creating some amazing dishes. There were many more who all contributed towards making my vacation truly enjoyable. I will always remember the Postcard, Galle as one of most favourite vacations ever.

Quiet & peaceful place. Tasteful decor & comfortable stay. The team were very hospitable throughout the stay, especially the chef and the property manager. Highly recommend for family and solo travelers seeking for some alone peaceful time.

Everything from the hotel, the room and the hospitality was top notch. Highly customized to what we wanted to do. Awesome suggestions, a great view from the deck, super comfortable rooms were the highlight. Thanks to Bharat and his team for a wonderful weekend.

What a perfect little property in Galle! It exceeded expectations - Our favourite property in all of SL. The staff led by Bharat were most immaculate with the hospitality, little touches and food. Bharat went above and beyond in every possible way. An excellent host. Everyone is warm and friendly. The property itself is stunning and so peaceful. Special shout out to Sandaruwan for the cutest turn-down every day and the friendliest service.

Just checked in to the all famous postcard galle.. one of the most badly maintained hotels I have stayed in.. the bathroom lock just broke.. when I was inside.. thankfully there was a colleague in the room and he helped in calling the hotel staff.. but overall.. such a rundown property.. just dreading what else will breakdown in the next two days we are staying here.. so much so for being boutique and rustic… people can’t get locked inside their hotel bathrooms… I am sorry I don’t want to be that boutique..

The Postcard in Galle is a lovely boutique property that charms its way into the guests staying there! The management took care to respond to all our queries and make arrangements which were well taken care of with no hitches. The property is a 10 minute tuk tuk ride away from the Galle Fort area and main town. The rooms are neat and clean... a couple of simple additions would make them even better... The food is simple and tasty...gives the feeling of being home cooked which appeals to the senses. The staff are well trained and manage the property well. The pool is nice and shady and the general vibe is one of serene and calm. A good option while considering a property to stay in Galle.
