Booked a room through ************. arrived at the hotel at check-in time. At first they tried to provide a room below the category. After clarification, they showed us the room in which we were supposed to live. But it was dirty, with a terrible smell inside and no window. More precisely, the window did not look out onto the street, but into a closed corridor. There was nothing to breathe in the room. Not ventilated. They refused to give us another room for the same price, even though a room of the same category was available. He asked me to pay twice as much. They said that we could just leave if something didn’t suit us. The hotel hides information from booking that some of their rooms actually do not have windows facing the street or courtyard. The staff is rude and unresponsive. I do not recommend this hotel.

Mi novia y yo disfrutamos de una estancia encantadora en Sunset Galle Fort durante nuestra visita a Galle. Desde nuestra llegada, todo el personal nos recibió con energía positiva y sonrisas, lo que hizo que nos sintiéramos bienvenidos y cómodos. El hotel ofrece todas las comodidades necesarias para desconectarse del mundo tecnológico y conectar con la naturaleza. Las habitaciones son acogedoras y limpias, y la ubicación en el corazón del Fuerte de Galle nos permitió explorar fácilmente los alrededores históricos y culturales. Agradecemos especialmente al equipo por su atención al preparar mis comidas, considerando mi alergia al sésamo. Su preocupación y las medidas tomadas para garantizar mi seguridad alimentaria nos brindaron tranquilidad y nos permitieron disfrutar plenamente de la gastronomía local. Ik zie het hier verder eigenlijk nergens staan in de reviews dus ik weet niet of wij toevallig een slechte kamer hebben gekregen maar de bedden liggen vreselijk. Je ligt letterlijk op de ijzeren vering. Verder ligt het hotel wel centraal en is het personeel vriendelijk. Het ontbijt is prima.
