Sama Retreats is a hidden gem that offers a truly personalized experience. The food was exceptional—easily one of the highlights of my stay. Instead of a fixed menu, you speak directly with the chef, share your preferences, and each meal is thoughtfully crafted based on what’s fresh and in season, especially the seafood. Every dish felt like it was made just for me. The staff were warm, attentive, and made me feel like a VIP from start to finish. The property itself is stunning—beautifully rustic with natural pools to swim in and decor that blends effortlessly with the surrounding nature. It’s the perfect mix of comfort, charm, and authenticity. Highly recommend for anyone looking to unwind, eat well, and enjoy a truly curated escape.

One of the best places i have ever stayed! I was there for 2 weeks! We retreated there and had yoga & ayurveda treatments. Felt rejuvenated immediately.! Every moment was excellent! The place, the staff, the food, the rooms are all 10/10. I highly recommend Sama Retreats!

Sama retreats has zen-like atmosphere in a tropical heaven. The best hotel staff imaginable. Our room was clean all the time. We really enjoyed the local healthy food! Location was perfect, its secluded area was so big that you can get lost in the hotel. Also very peaceful beachfront. I would highly recommend it for anyone looking for a quiet escape in a beautiful setting. The yoga studio was magical. Ayurvedic spa/ massages were deeply relaxing. Thank you for everything!

Three nights here was just not long enough! It is a gorgeous place to stay in a stunning hideaway location - we felt very lucky to have discovered it! Our room was to die for - right by the beach and totally private with a wonderful comfortable bed and great facilities. Everything is very natural and rustic and in tune with the wild surroundings and there is an aura of calm and peace everywhere. The food is delicious and the staff couldn’t be more helpful with immediate positive response to any needs or queries. We felt so well looked after! The morning yoga session is a must and the wellness facilities are superb. And as for the beach - it is breathtaking, almost completely empty and absolutely stunning! Sama Retreats is a total gem set in its own garden of paradise - we will be back for longer next time!

Incredible place and teams! The hotel is very respectful of the environment, it is intimate and very peaceful. Everywhere you look is beautiful. It is perfectly located, the garden opens onto a path to the ocean with a splendid view and the quiet Sound of waves and fresh air. Food is amazing, sane / Ayurvedic and sooooo tasty! All the team members are as discrete as smiling, efficient and benevolent, you feel like at home. The last but clearly not the least, the SPA team, Molly and the Ayurvedic Doctor Achala Da Silva: It is an expérience in its own. One can only appreciates the quiteness of the place (imagine receiving a massage as a Gift while looking the nature and its sounds in front of you in the open!). The listening, care, positive energy and professionalism complete the perfection. As you can understand, a little nest in paradise that one can only but protect, respect and appreciate every second of one’s stay. Ps: for true nature lovers, the turtle rescue center, located between Sama Retreats and the Fishermen’s boat on the Beach, is one in which you will feel the authentic approach of helping and releasing those magnificent creatures. Charith who founded the center is belles by several benevolent people and a dedicated team. They do not try to reach our to you while you walk on the Beach, a treasure you will love to participate in or to sonate for so it can keep being authentic and pure care.
