We family and friends of a crowd of 30-40 visited the Wirdana Resort and it was a amazing time. Manager Nirosh and his team ensured that we were fully satisfied in every requirement we made and the late meals and other requirements were fulfilled to the maximum of every participants. The Chalets were very homely, clean, spacious and comfortable in every way. Fully recommend for a crowd of 30 - 40 to go an enjoy the stay, pool, meals and specially the hospitality of the staff.

A beautiful retreat nestled in nature and only a short walk from the beach front and plenty of restaurants in the village and a short drive from Galle. We had such a lovely family stay for a week at Wirdana. It’s a small boutique hotel with adjacent villas. The rooms are huge, and the decor is so tasteful and comfortable. The pool is wonderful and we spent many days lounging and swimming and had most of our meals at the hotel over the week; the food was amazing and the staff were all so friendly and helpful and made our holiday the special. Very recommended!

What a beautiful place, a 5 acre hidden hideaway. It is a small boutique hotel with 6 well maintained villa’s. We enjoyed the swimming pool and food very much. The staff is friendly and is really making your stay very comfortable. A place to remember

We visited this place with the family booking 2 villas, this place hasn’t been maintained properly and there are fans, lights and door locks which are not functioning. Also there were frequent power cuts and staff didn’t do anything for hours. One room didn’t have bed blankets & we noticed it around 2am when we went to sleep and had to sleep without a blanket! They provide only one small water bottle per person and water refills will be charged. The one villa key was not handed over to us when we checked in and it was provided only on request mentioning last guest has taken it with them ! Family celebrated a birthday at the place and we have missed a present when leaving the place. However we called the manager and checked when we identify the missed item. Manager informed it’s there, we can come and collect. so went Galle again next weekend and collected, the gift was completely teardown into parts ! Only good things were, that we could use outdoor spaces to play and they provided plates on request for dinner. I will not recommend this place to anyone!

Het hotel is een grote teleurstelling en absoluut niet aan te raden. De locatie is zeer afgelegen, waardoor je altijd afhankelijk bent van taxi’s of dure samenwerkingen met tuktuks. De kamers zijn slecht onderhouden: ze worden niet schoongemaakt, het water is lauw, en er zijn grote spleten onder de deuren waardoor insecten en muizen binnenkomen. Privacy ontbreekt volledig, want de badkamer en het toilet hebben geen deuren. Wellnessfaciliteiten zijn duur en niet inbegrepen, terwijl de omgeving verre van ontspannend is door harde muziek. Aan het zwembad zijn geen parasols beschikbaar, waardoor je in de brandende zon zit. Bij 32 graden biedt enkel het terras wat schaduw. Daarnaast lopen er drie grote honden rond zonder leiband, wat storend en zelfs beangstigend kan zijn. Veel van het eten op de kaart is niet beschikbaar, en tot overmaat van ramp waren wij de enige gasten in het hotel, wat de sfeer extra ongemakkelijk maakte. Dit hotel mist de basisvoorzieningen en ervaring die je van een 4-sterrenverblijf mag verwachten.
