This was a luxurious experience- a 3 bedroom villa with pool just to ourselves ! It is deceptive from the outside with a modest front which masks the large sitting and dining areas complete with pool table behind the front door. You then go through to a courtyard containing a good sized swimming pool with plenty of areas to sit and relax. Then main bedroom is upstairs. It is big with a nice sized bathroom. we were very well looked after by Ruwan - he worked full time in the villa and could organise food to be brought in from the adjoining hotel. We had breakfast in the villa and eat out for other meals. It is central to the Fort with immediate access to attractions and restaurants. But the villa is so comfortable that we often retreated there just to enjoy it ! We stayed a couple of nights and this worked well for us.

Fabulous retreat from the busy streets of Galle. Concealed behind a rather unprepossessing exterior is an exquisitely refurbished villa with 3 gorgeous bedroom s and substantial communal space. The courtyard has a welcome swimming pool but best of all for our visit was Ruan, the staff member who looked after us so well. Lovely man. Lovely property. Can’t recommend it highly enough.

This was our last stay at the end of an incredible holiday and we weren't disappointed. Villa 41 Lighthouse Street was very understated from the outside, however an oasis of stylish tranquility lay behind the wooden doors. It only has 3 rooms and we were their only guests for that night so we had the place to ourselves. It was wonderful.
