I stayed at the Wild Coast Tented Lodge of the same group before, so I didn't have a serious injury without comparison.
The scenery is good, the beach is beautiful, but the room is very ordinary

Absolutely amazing surroundings, the place is beautiful and the staff has been great. We stayed in the nicest suite at the beach and woke up to the most beautiful view. The food has been really good too, definitely a place worth to come back to!

Ahu Bay is a beautiful, peaceful retreat with amazing ocean views and stylish design. The highlight of our stay was the incredible hospitality from Nilanga — he was kind, attentive, and made us feel truly welcome. Just a heads-up: the beach is not private to the hotel, and you may come across beach boys offering services.

Beautiful hotel loved the pool . Staff lovely and food fabulous . I am Celiac and dairy intolerant and they looked after me very well. Our room was beautiful with balcony and ocean view. Highly recommend this hotel . It was the last night of our 14 days tour in Sri Lanka and absolute highlight.

Ahu Bay is a lovey small boutique hotel offering outstanding service, great food (with a chef that addresses guests personally during their stay to ensure they are well catered for),and absolute peace and privacy. While expensive, it is a little oasis and a wonderful break from the chaotic coastline between Colombo and Galle. My family loved the gifted box of tea given on our departure.
