The hotel is very good. It is an all-inclusive hotel. After staying in the hotel, you don't need to worry about any food and drink.

A very comfortable trip, must go to the beach! The beachfront hotel is really the highlight of the trip. Because it is an environmentally friendly hotel, remember to ask for disposable utensils such as toothbrushes from the front desk in advance.

Overall, it was an enjoyable stay although in some respects it was inferior to other hotels I stayed in on the holiday. The pools were great and so was the view from the room. The room itself was alright - quite basic but sufficient. We did have problems with a leak in the ceiling which was promptly addressed by staff but still a little annoying. In general the staff were lovely: in particular Chamindu in the restaurant, a security guard who called me and my partner over to show us turtles on the beach (sorry, can't remember his name) and the guy working the sunloungers at the lower pool. The weakest part was probably the food. It wasn't bad exactly, it was just worse than the food in all the other hotels I stayed in.

The infinity pool of Bawa architecture is a wonderful hotel. Many of the customers seemed to be from Sri Lanka. There were many people like honeymooners, but there were surprisingly many families and families. Although the hotel was a little old, it was solidly built and there was no problem with the plumbing. Service outside the restaurant was very good. The restaurant seems to take more than 30 minutes to bring out what you ordered at lunch. And it was a little cold. Coffee for breakfast also took quite a while to come out. Housekeeping and receptionists were very nice.

The fort printers is a wonderful small boutique hotel in the middle of galle fort. We had a poor experience in another nearby hotel (poor air conditioning, noisy) and decided we would try and shift. In the morning we went into the hotel and the manager gave us a good rate so we moved. The rooms are lovely, well appointed, quiet, comfortable bed. Breakfast is outstanding, the best we had in Sri Lanka. Staff are very helpful. My partner had an accident with a Tuk Tuk and they were very supportive. Fortunately she was OK -we were very impressed by the care they showed. A great feature of the hotel is the pool, very rare in the old part of Galle, and with the heat, a great relief during the day. The location of the hotel is perfect, everything you need, cafes, shops, the sea, sites etc are a short walk. Highly recommended!!

What a find ! Our large room was absolutely perfect - open the doors and there was the wonderful huge pool! Everything was so lovely, just as the pictures depicted - even better ! Breakfast was great, we had 2 meals at the hotel of an evening which were magnificent and set up poolside for us which was really lovely We were thrilled with our stay . The staff were delightful, helpful and kept the villa in such beautiful condition. Laundry was organised for us which was greatly appreciated as we were on a long trip and needed this done on short notice We cannot rate this Villa highly enough. I am a little late writing this review .sorry Coco Bay. We have been to Sri Lanka many , many times . Staying at a variety of resorts and hotels , really wish we had found this gem of a hotel earlier. The location is idyllic, on its own beach , sea views from all rooms . The rooms are kept spotlessly clean as are the public areas ,by the professional , friendly housekeeping staff . From checking in to checking out ,everything is faultless . The reception staff are polite, helpful and always smiling . There are comfortable loungers facing the sea and only steps from the pool , a plentiful supply of clean beach towels always at hand supplied by the smiling life guard We opted for the half board basis for our stay . We were not disappointed . Breakfast was an excellent start to the day, fruit juice ,fruit platter ,pastries and then a choice of the cooked options . There was also a wide selection for the evening meal . all delicious . The chef was always on hand with advice and help . Would always ask if there was anything we would especially like We ate lunch there on a few occasions ,the seafood platter is to die for . I would like to thank all the staff that took care of us in the restaurant , they were all wonderful. We will back in the very near future

Really enjoyed my stay at fort bazaar. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Due to the rainy weather down south I changed my plans to go to Tangalle and stay a couple of extra days at Fort Bazaar and enjoyed the spa and walking around Galle. I was a solo traveler and felt safe and comfortable there. Definitely somewhere I would consider to stay again

Departed for Sri Lanka on September 28, 2023, and checked into the Amangalla Hotel in Galle Fort. It was the sixth Aman hotel to check in. It felt great. Amangalla was built in the 17th century. It was formerly a military command in the Netherlands. It later became the first hotel in Sri Lanka. It was acquired by the Aman Group in 1995. The hotel is not big, but it is well-equipped with swimming pools, massage pools, yoga rooms, etc. , you can experience local shaving services and foot massages. Amangalla is the smallest Aman I have ever stayed in. It is in the middle of the ancient city of Galle and a 10-minute walk from the lighthouse. The surrounding area is very convenient for eating, drinking and entertainment. There is the Tuna and the Crab restaurant, which is a brother restaurant of the one-Michelin-star restaurant in Colombo. If you have enough money, you can try it. Be sure to choose his tea plantation tour, which will also take you to see the sea turtle hatching base and stilt fishing. It was very interesting. Although I fell off and stepped on a rock while fishing on stilts and was injured, I gained interesting photos and a rare life experience. The ancient city of Galle is also worth visiting. Amangalla can arrange cars and tour guides. The hotel is right in the center of the ancient city. The location is good and it is very convenient to go everywhere. Although I fell into the sea while fishing on stilts and cut my feet. All in all, it was still a very interesting experience. The two Amans in Sri Lanka are different from the ones we stayed in before. They are far away from Colombo and do not provide free airport pick-up services. The airport pick-up fee for the five of us was about US$400 in a large amanganla. It should be noted that if two Aman activities are booked for consecutive days, they generally need to be booked from the official website, not Ctrip agents.
