We really had good time in this place, it was so close to nearest beaches ( you should walk or take a bus but l did not mind) we explored different beaches and areas each day🤩 there are very cute cats 😇☺️Also owner is so helpful and very polite guy, thank you so much

Wonderful stay at Kanso Rooms. The team at Kanso Rooms looked after us and were super helpful throughout our stay. Communication prior to arriving was excellent - facilitating our late night arrival and booking transport from the airport. Room and area were perfect - lots of lovely spots to relax and rest, and the cats were a delight. Location was good - only a short 10 min walk to an excellent beach at the bottom of the main road, and 10 min walk in the other direction to the village…with an ace little local food shop (who were lovely), a butcher, super little bakery, coffee shop and one of the best restaurants in the area - Mastrapas. Sad to leave.

Vassily was the perfect host. It seems like the man never sleeps. He was up early working and offered us endless suggestions of places to eat and visit. The hotel itself is located just outside of old town so for us with a car it was a great escape from the hustle and bustle of old town Chania. Raking was included. The rooms were well air conditioned with comfortable beds and a good size terrace. Our only complaint if we were being picky was that the bathroom was a bit small. We would recommend a shower curtain as we created a slight flood with every shower. The kitchenette was well equipped so we could enjoy our breakfasts without going out to eat. I would highly recommend this hotel as it added to our wonderful stay in Chania. By the way there is a pool which looked very inviting. We were just too tired after all our adventures to it!

From the very beginning the owner welcomed us with such care. The place itself it’s located perfectly outside the rush of people but yet still so close to the city of Chania (8/10mins by car). The establishment is super nice and well kept surrounded by bamboo and olive trees. The rooms are near each other and most of them are overlooking the pool. Room itself was very very clean and towels,bedsheets,products were smelling really nice. You can see that the place is well maintained and taken very good care of! It’s also PET FRIENDLY with stray cats(which you’ll see either in the morning or at night without even bothering you) another reason why we booked this establishment as we brought our own dog which was well accepted without any additional costs or useless comments. Our holiday is still ongoing as we booked for 5 days but it’s a must to leave a positive comment to such a beautiful place and people. To who ever sees this post don’t think twice and just book it! You’ll see us DEFINITELY again! Thanks for hosting us. I.Z

Beatiful rooms and pool area, great service, location is good as it's 10 min drive from old town and accessible. Rooms are clean and with nice balcony view to the ocean. Go to the reception to ask for recommendations for food, parking, beaches, tours and anything you wish to do

Upon reading the positive reviews we already had high expectations, but these were surpassed last week. Vassilis and Athanasia were fantastic hosts who were there when you needed them but also left you alone to relax and enjoy. The hotel is located is slightly away from the hustle and bustle from tourist life but is close enough to amenities and a short bus ride away from Chania. They also sell great cocktails and other drinks which can be enjoyed at the poolside. The Garden Suite was as described and kept clean and tidy each day by staff. It was equipped with modern aircon and kitchen facilities. If you’re planning on exploring Crete further we would recommend hiring a car or motorbike and there are spaces to park at Kanso. If not, the buses are cheap, accessible and city tickets can be bought from the local market shop down the road. An extra bonus was the cats and kittens who said hello every evening and made us smile!

We arrived to Kanso Rooms early in the morning before check in and were welcomed by very friendly staff who offered us free drinks. It wasn’t a problem for them since they cleaned our room very quickly and we got to settle in. Room was cozy, spacy and clean. AC was working well in the 30+ C weather. The pool area was also nice and clean, and we could swim in there whenever we wanted to. The staff was the highlight of this stay. They went beyond their ways to help us in any situation. We couldn’t ask for a better service. Little kittens around Kanso Rooms were a bonus for cat peaple! :) Overall we would recommend Kanso Rooms!

Gorgeous structure. With a sober, spartan and at the same time elegant style, it offers all the desirable comforts, maximum cleanliness, absolute silence and relaxation. In the morning, before going to the beach, and in the evening, after having dinner, it was wonderful to spend time in the large patio with swimming pool, around which the apartments are located. Vassillis, the owner, is an excellent person, serious and very helpful.

I stayed with family at Kanso Rooms for 4 days and I really appreciated: - the welcome from Vassilis who was available and who provided us with very good advice for our visits - The location of the site which was close to Chania but quiet - The decoration of the outdoor spaces around the swimming pool (bohemian chic atmosphere) - The cleanliness of the rooms - And the presence of cats and adorable kittens which belonged to the residence. All the rooms either overlook the swimming pool and some on a high floor can see the sea. If I can allow myself to highlight one point for improvement, it would be the kitchen which does not really allow cooking because it is too small... otherwise, everything was perfect! I would happily stay there again!
