LOVED this place. From the moment we checked in the staff did everything possible to make our stay amazing even organizing a lunch in the garden for us when their restaurant was fully booked. We enjoyed an exceptional wine tasting of the Badia wine collection and a tour of their celler by Josey (Josephine). We did not have a car (not the best idea on our part) yet the hotel hospitality director coordinated a fantastic tour for us so we could see other wineries and venues around Tuscany. Simply put, the staff was terrific and we would highly recommend making Badia a Coltibuono a stop on your Tuscany trip.

Visiting Badia gives you a total explanation why Tuscany is so popular. The place is quiet (except wedding time) and relaxing. The surrounding is amazing and the fresh air here can't be compared to anything. Excellent place to escape from daily routines.

When shown to our room it felt spacious if a little dark ….but the whole place grew on us and we ended up enjoying it enormously. We embraced the atmosphere…. Joined a cooking class run by the great Benedita Vitale and had enormous fun with a group of people who all lived thousands of miles from us. One of the best 4 hours of the whole trip. We feel enormous warmth towards this place and how we were welcomed.

Cooking class with wine tasting just delightful! Our chef/instructor Linda was patient, humorous, and encouraging. All local ingredients, time honored techniques. The food we prepared was delicious, and dinner company interesting. Don’t miss this!

Stopped last minute for dinner after original plans got changed a day. Tremendous location and our food was very good. The primi pasta dish was a bit more Al Dante than we’d prefer but tasty. The mains we had the beef shank and nothing left on anyone’s plate. Dolci were very good. Really nice spot and the valley views are spectacular.

This was a true highlight of our trip. Spent a couple days at Badia a Coltibuono and loved everything about it. The property is gorgeous, the staff was beyond helpful, and the room was large and comfortable. We did the cooking class and it was one of the best activities of our entire vacation. What a special place.

Amazing location and great value hotel. Rooms slightly basic/homely but ok for the price. Super restaurant on site with stunning views. Wine tour is worth a punt as the hotel has incredible cellars from when it was a monastery. Gorgeous pool and kitchen garden to boot. Would 100% visit again.

My wife and I stayed at Badia for 4 days over a long weekend. We had an absolutely wonderful time. The staff were incredible, they worked so hard to look after us and made sure that my sister's wedding was perfect. The wine cellar is incredible, one of the best I have visited. The bedrooms are lovely and the beds are comfortable.
