Hilton Garden Inn Gainesville

We stay at this hotel often when we are in town visiting family and have always had pleasant experiences. Bearing in mind that the location is under construction/renovation, the communication, we felt, was lacking. No signage indicating which entrance was closed at any given time made accessing our suite inconvenient and frustrating as it changed from day to day. We encountered issues with non-working door locks to our room as well. Outside of the issues that the hotel faced due to construction, our stay was as good as could be expected under the circumstances.

No breakfast. Property was under construction, a much needed remodel, room carpet was very old. Still expensive, and not right off the highway,

This property was amazing. They were able to fit us in last minute due to another hotel canceling our reservation a week before our stay during fall family weekend at University of Florida. The bathroom was spacious with an oversize walk-in shower, and the living area was huge. It was fully equipped. But what really impressed us was the staff. We received check-in’s by the staff asking if they could do anything for us, and the complementary breakfast was truly amazing with a wide variety of food. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to stay in the Gainesville area and this is now our hotel of choice.

Property was good for 1 night, a little annoyed that breakfast wasn’t included, expensive for what they offered.

Friendly staff, nice facility, co venient to UF. Definitely better than most hotels in Gville. Downsides- parking fulls up at night, hard mattress, and need to post in lobby about breakfast pricing. We thought it was included. Again, though, one of the best places we have stayed

Easy check in/out. Good food and fair price at happy hour service. Friendly staff. We'll be back
