I gave this hotel 4 stars because of a few things. The first was the noise level, I could hear every footstep of the guests upstairs and in the hallway. There was a group of guests that came in well after midnight and had a 20 min conversation in the hallway about the day as they were standing at their room doors before going in. This was about two separate rooms but with my room in between and across the hall. I checked in with my reservation for 5 people just in case my family joined. Front desk clerk was new had issue adding Marriott number and I waited for other employee. When morning came breakfast was great but I was grabbing and going and asked for a bottle of water (the one they give when you check in i thought maybe it was in room but it was not. The front desk tried to charge me $3. I explained that I did not get one when I checked in and thought it was in the room. After checking my status they gave me one. It was a water bottle I wasn’t asking for a cold one from the cooler. There are several restaurants within walking & driving distance including longhorn (10%off with room key), Red lobster, a Mexican restaurant and several others down the road.
