This Comfort Inn & Suites feels almost new. Entering the lobby was the first indication that this is a well kept property. The rate was fair on Hotels Tonight & in person. Our room was clean & roomy with the king size bed, desk & a sofa. The check in was easy with a helpful friendly staff. We so recommend this hotel.

I don’t write many of these but to just to let the next person know what to expect. They are in the middle of doing some renovations. That’s great. However the front desk guy probably couldn’t have cared less I was there but got me a room. My reservation requests non smoking. First room reeks of smoke. We try and bear it but after about 30 minutes and a headache I asked to be moved. Same guy, didn’t seem concerned. Just swapped out the keys for a new one. Second room no smoke. Good. Air conditioner is louder than the tv that’s on. Overall I get it’s in renovation mode, but engaging front desk people and finished rooms would be preferable.

Stayed here for a few months on Buisness. The amenities such as the pool, laundry room, and workout room were very well kept and clean. The staff in the main lobby as well as the restaurant were all professional and friendly and more than accommodating. The food in the restaurant was excellent and I consider myself to be a “foodie”. House keeping was consistent and thorough which has not been the case at most other hotels I’ve stayed at since covid. Proximity to the city and the highway can’t get any better. Highly recommend.

When we were displaced due to an angry MOTHER NATURE, we checked in the Red roof inn, in Tallahassee FL. The staff here is absolutely wonderful!! I would like to mention housekeeping in particular, after long days of dealing with our property sometimes you just want to come back to a nice clean room, and that is what we get every single day!! Couple of the housekeepers nicknamed ”uncle and wife” are very efficient, fast and friendly. Recently we've encountered Trace, and what a great individual and worker he is!! Housekeeping, is it very important part of a nice stay. We really appreciate the great workers they have here at the Red roof inn Tallahassee. 😊😊😊😊😊

if i could give it 0 or negative stars i would! my mom and i came from 4 hours away in order to get away for the weekend and enjoy a swimming pool, as im on bed rest while pregnant & close to birthing my first child. when we arrived, the pool was discolored (a light greenish color) and the parking lot was almost vacant. first red flag(s)! we entered and there was nobody at the desk to greet us; when they finally came to the desk, we were hardly spoken to. we asked if the pool was in use where we were further informed it was not, but was not given a reason besides “maintenance”, we proceeded to ask why it wasn’t on the website as that was the sole reason for booking, and we were again not given a solid answer. we proceeded to our room to figure out what we would do next, where we were then told the general manager was on vacation and the best we could do is pay for another hotel and “hope for a refund when he returns”. while speaking with guest helpline, we found a push pin needle in the carpet, the fridge was not cold, nor was it stable. the paint was peeling off of the dresser, the walls & the shower was disgusting. we had no microwave, no chair, no bucket for ice, and the bathroom was dirty. VERY unhappy and not pleased at all.

GGuest UserThe outside of the hotel is attractive but the inside is shoddy with cheap construction, cheap finishes and furnishings. For example, the duvet did not adequately cover the bed. In the bathroom a shelf obstructed an electrical outlet. Nothing seemed quite clean. Housekeeping had just left our room when we checked in but there was some kind of white powder on the carpet. Hall carpet looked worn. Picture on elevator door was torn. We could not find another place to stay and were road weary so we went out and bought a can of Lysol spray and sprayed everything in the room. The only area that seemed immaculate was the breakfast area and the attendant there seemed to be doing a great job of keeping it clean and stocked
