__WeChat19587****I stayed at the Grand Hyatt for a concert, and it was a fantastic experience with excellent service.
First, about the stay:
The view was great, not one of those tiny window views. The room's desk was also very spacious, and it was easy to call a taxi. The bed was also very comfortable.
Service:
Everyone was incredibly proactive with their service! I felt very well taken care of. When I mentioned visiting 'San Jie Qi Fang,' and after hearing about our overall itinerary, they called to ask if we needed them to book a car for us right away – indeed, we wouldn't have made it otherwise! 😁
Since the hotel was fully booked that day, there was a slight hiccup because the room wasn't perfectly ready in time. After we expressed our understanding, they continuously checked in with us, asked about our needs, and offered assistance. A great example of proactive service: since we needed to drop off our luggage first, the room wasn't entirely tidied up. So, two waves of staff came over to check and organize things. But being professionals, they didn't disturb our rest, were very light-footed, and even warmly explained the maintenance and adjustment situation, thoroughly checking the facilities. They genuinely see customer needs, or rather, they're always on the ball. It's like if you're not familiar with the equipment here and look up wondering what to do, they'll proactively help you solve it without you even having to ask. That's incredibly thoughtful.
All of the above service made me feel incredibly good. There are so many other small details I could mention; it wasn't cold, impersonal service, but truly comfortable. Even the staff at breakfast and the luggage handlers were proactive, which is different from other hotels. It's clear their daily training is very strict. I'm truly grateful for the service I received during this short day; it made me genuinely comfortable.
In summary, despite the unavoidable fully booked situation, you used your people, your heart, and your enthusiasm to anticipate and solve problems!
Of course, breakfast must also be mentioned. This hotel's breakfast offers a rich variety, but it was the first time my mother praised it so highly. The selection was abundant, and the taste was great, especially the Western pastries – they were truly excellent.
Finally, a note about the concert:
This is a 5-star hotel close to Fuzhou Stadium that offers great value for money and good views. It's within walking distance, it's convenient to take a taxi there, and there are many small motorbikes available afterwards (remember to haggle!). The staff mentioned that many celebrities stay here, and I believe it, as I saw concert staff with badges on that day. There's also a commercial center nearby suitable for ordering takeout, and a vending machine downstairs for emergency travel essentials – so you can even attend a concert at the last minute. The self-service Starbucks coffee machine downstairs is also always available, though I haven't tried it.
Overall, if you have a bit of a budget for a concert, I truly recommend coming here. Booking early also makes it affordable. (It's a shame I couldn't take more photos during my rushed trip, I'll save that for next time 🥰)
Thank you again for making this short, extreme journey such a comfortable experience.
