Fuzhou Taijiang District Hotels

The room was clean and spacious and very enjoyable to be in for 4 nights. The service in this hotel is commendable and they really go the extra mile. First of all, there were issues with the first two rooms I was assigned. By the second room, I passed a comment “forget it, I’m lazy to request for a new room again” and the concierge staff with me offered to go down and get me another room. I didn’t get his name but I appreciate it and I got to have a comfortable stay thanks to him. The other incident involved my Taobao return package which was divided into two parts and only one package reached the seller. I had already left China by then and was severely limited in trying to resolve the issue myself. I emailed the hotel for assistance, and am very grateful to Wilson Ye from Concierge who spent a few days following up with the platform and courier. Would strongly recommend this hotel and would love to stay here again if I ever visit Fuzhou.

While the location is decent and the staff is helpful, the interior of the hotel is old and run down. The central air condition is so loud that sleep remains a wishful dream. The furniture in the room and the restaurant don't match the ambition of a Westin Hotel. The breakfast was dull at best.

The hotel is located on Jasmine Street, and the night view is so charming. This is a good hotel. I originally planned to stay for 3 days, but the noise of cars all night discouraged me on the first night. If you want to stay here, you must choose a room facing the inside.

This is an older hotel, and while its facilities are a bit dated, it has a special charm. It still offers all the amenities you'd expect from a traditional four-star establishment; many items modern hotels have forgone, such as umbrellas, shoehorns, shopping bags, notepads, cotton swabs, and nail files, are thoughtfully provided here. The rooms are neat and clean. Most notably, all hot water in the hotel comes from a natural hot spring, and the hotel even thoughtfully provides disposable bath liners for hygiene, so guests don't have to worry. We checked in at nearly 2 AM and still received a warm welcome from the front desk staff. One minor point for improvement: While breakfast officially ends at 10 AM, by a little past 9 AM, some dishes or pastries were already gone and not refilled. Later guests were left with very limited choices, and there weren't many options to begin with. Also, having only one room key was quite inconvenient. If one guest left for an errand or an early breakfast, it caused problems: either they couldn't get back up to the room, or if the key was taken, the power in the room would cut out, inconveniencing the person still inside.

## Facilities The room facilities were all new, and the bed sheets and towels felt fresh and clean. ## Cleanliness The room was immaculately clean. ## Location The hotel is conveniently located about a 6-7 km taxi ride from the high-speed train station. It's also just about 3 km from popular attractions like Shangxiahang and Sanfang Qixiang, which makes exploring very easy. ## Service The service was outstanding. The buffet restaurant offered a rotating menu, and both the front desk and room service staff were incredibly warm, friendly, and approachable. They frequently offered bottled water, especially during the hot weather, which was a thoughtful touch. A special mention goes to Miss Tangyuan, who truly made me feel at home and provided a delightful experience.

For this trip, I opted for a traditional Chinese-style guesthouse located right at the entrance of Fuzhou's Shangxiahang Scenic Area. Housed in a charming old building, its overall aesthetic and comfort level were truly impressive. The proprietor was incredibly kind and attentive to every detail. The guesthouse offers complimentary afternoon tea (two servings of tea, fruits, and small snacks) and a free Hanfu (traditional Chinese clothing) experience, allowing you to freely explore the Shangxiahang Scenic Area dressed in traditional attire. For those who enjoy calligraphy or traditional ink painting, this place is a dream – they provide complimentary brushes, ink, paper, and an inkstone, all set up on a wonderfully large table. It's worth noting that while most hotels and guesthouses typically have a 2 PM check-in and 12 PM check-out, this one offers an early check-in at 11 AM and a late check-out at 1 PM the next day, provided you inform them a day in advance. During check-out, I had a brief chat with the owner who was preparing tea. He was so welcoming and accommodating. When I casually mentioned I'd forgotten about breakfast, he said they could provide it anytime, as long as you ask beforehand, not strictly limited to the usual breakfast hours (which are apparently 8-10 AM). Nearby, you'll find Fuzhou's famous old eateries: 'Erlongbo Yuanxiao,' 'Tongli Rouyan,' and Dadao's 'Yiqiang Niuhua.' On the same street as 'Niuhua,' there's also 'Hao Li Bing' (Oyster Cake). You truly can't go wrong with any of these places; they're all highly recommended! For 'Laohua,' I suggest trying 'Axin.' As for fish balls, it's a matter of personal taste, but you might as well try them at Tongli Rouyan while you're there. 😂 All in all, this guesthouse boasts a fantastic location, both its physical facilities and service quality were outstanding, and there are plenty of delicious food options nearby. Absolutely superb! 👍🏻

My impressions after staying here Five words: Wai Rui Ting Ba. 1. Hotel location: Old Taijiang Commercial Center, very close to the scenic spot, a commercial street, very lively, takeaway at 2 a.m. arrived in less than 20 minutes. 2. Hotel environment: Walking into the lobby, it is high-end and atmospheric, with 3 elevators, quiet guest rooms, simple decoration without losing the atmosphere, the curtains close automatically when you open the door, and there is music to listen to when you take a shower. 3. Service quality: Warm and polite, thoughtful, every reception detail is full, the front desk lady is very beautiful, the stage name on the badge is nice, and I heard that the boss is a handsome guy, single people can make an appointment. 4. Sanitary quality: The room is messy and clean. I seriously suspect that the sanitation foreman has been a deputy squad leader in the army for ten years and often comes to Fuzhou on business trips. The hotel is very cost-effective and the breakfast is very rich, better than most five-star hotels in Fuzhou. The key is to sleep until ten o'clock and still have food. 5. Facilities and equipment: The facilities are complete, there is a smart toilet with constant temperature, and a disposable toilet mat is provided. The details are full, you can ask the robot to deliver things by calling. They are polite, lively and cute. The pillows and mattress are just the right softness and hardness. When I woke up, my waist was no longer sore and my legs and feet were nimble. I can go up to the fifth floor in one breath. I really dare not write more, or I will be questioned whether I was hired by the boss. I recommend you to experience it for yourself!

Great location, spacious room, nice night view along the river. Only that the entrance to the lobby was weird, you have to dragged the luggage up thru the stairs

I enjoy the trip every time when I come to Fuzhou and stay at craown plaza hotel, river view , yummy breakfast, clean and bog rooms with bath tub , I love it

The hotel stay experience was very warm and touching. When I first arrived at the hotel, I forgot the password to the password box, and the front desk enthusiastically helped me unlock it; I encountered an earthquake during my stay, and the front desk gently comforted me; when I went upstairs to eat, the restaurant lady cared and introduced Fuzhou cuisine, and even delivered noodles to the table; during my stay, it rained and I left my shoes by the window. When I came back, I found that they had been washed and dried by the housekeeping lady, and there was a note next to them. The enthusiasm and attentiveness of the hotel waiters make guests feel the warmth of home in an unfamiliar environment.
